The service at Ocean Radiology is atrocious. The employers are full of promises yet manage to break them every time. It started back in February when I had an appointment for an abdominal ultrasound at 11:30am. When I arrived half an hour ahead of the appointment, as instructed, (obviously on an empty stomach) I expected to be processed but I was told to come back later since there were still 5 patients ahead of me. So I left, with a promise of them calling me when they would be ready but no one did. So I came back 5pm the same day with the employees giving off a vibe as if they were waiting for me, since I was holding them back from going home earlier. Totally rude and unfriendly experience. And the real kicker was the employees eating right in front of me, when I haven't ate all day, so they let me drink a bit of water (which I believe may have led to the inconclusive results in my ultrasound report). Then in June, I went to get an MRI of both my knees (since my insurance covered this option). But Ocean Radiology refused to provide me with this service, since they don't due MRI for both knees in one day. So I cancelled my appointment and went to a different location. A while later in June, I was back again for a knee & ankle ultrasound with an additional thyroid ultrasound with a comparative study (for my surgeon). I was told to just bring in a CD and the MRI report from Lennox Hill Hospital (which I did). During the procedure the technician denied my doctor's request of an ankle ultrasound and then later claimed I refused to have it done. Three business days later, I picked up my report. And what a shocker it was to see so many mistakes, including the wrong date, contradictions in the half a page of text which they called a report... So they said we'll fix it but they never did, even the manager called Steve, told me,"I did not make this mistake and can not fix them." I went to my rheumatologist and their office said they never received the reports from Ocean Radiology. And the funny thing was the promised comparative study recommended me to go for an MRI which I already have provided them to do the comparison!!!!
Overall poor experience at this location and I do not...
Read moreAs any “theater starts with a cloakroom”( Konstantin Stanislavski- translation from Russian-D.M.), every office begins with its secretary. The secretary serves as the initial point of contact for patients. We, as patients, might arrive irritable, grumpy, ill-tempered, or simply upset and distressed, which is why the medical office setting demands patience and understanding. Despite the challenges, the secretary must maintain an amicable demeanor, a diligent attitude, and offer assistance to all who seek it. One such exemplary secretary is Rusudan, who works at Ocean Radiology. I've witnessed her interactions with patients on several occasions, and each time, I've been impressed by her kindness and care. The office is home to many talented individuals, including secretaries, technicians, and the incredibly attentive radiologist, Dr. Losik. These people do their best for us and all their good deeds start from...
Read moreThe worst place ever ,front disk are so unprofessional don’t respect the appointments. Very bad experience I had an appointment and I called day before and confirmed the appointment I went on time and was told that I would be the first patient to go in. Then another guy comes in and starts talking to her in Russian so she lets him in before me without explaining any thing. When I asked her what was going on she was very disrespectful and said it will be 30 minutes then you can go! Like how I was just told that I would be the first I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes prior only to find out that a guy who just showed up can go in before me ? Very rude and unprofessional ! Worst experience ever. I left the office without...
