I wanted to support local business and choose a place closer to my home rather than go to one of the big guys like color house. Big mistake. I had to do more dust removal than I ever have from these scans. But what really sucked was that I got a text from the owner on a Tuesday that my negatives had not been picked up and if I didnāt get them by that Saturday, they would be trashed. This is not how you treat peopleās memories and art, which is generally what film is used to capture. I completely understand a small business canāt hold a load of negatives - but the timeline provided to handle pickup was so completely unrealistic. Then, when I did make space in my schedule to make it there on such short notice, they werenāt even open for the hours they had listed for the business. I waited an hour for them to show up. They were rude via text message communicating about all of this. Lastly, to really top it off, when I did finally get let into the shop, the owner shoved a bin containing myriads of bagged film at me and told me to dig through it to find my own. š Truly a completely unprofessional experience. They told me if they never reminded me Iād never have come and gotten them, which is not true. The roll I had dropped was the first holiday I ever took with my partner, so they were deeply meaningful. The negatives are worth a lot to me, and I felt truly disrespected. I believe I left this review once before already and they had it deleted - but it is the true account of my experience there and you too should know before you go....

The owner, Dom requested I write a good review after he replaced my camera that he thought he had further damaged after I asked him to take a look at it. I had no issue writing the review since I had been a repeat customer for over a year and had spent more than $400 developing and purchasing film at his business. He bought me a new camera off of eBay to replace mine even though I did not ask him to do so. When I came to pick up my prints and original camera he refused to give it back stating that it functions and if I want it back I should give him the camera he bought me in exchange. My original camera was still broken and not in the state I brought it in. He argued with me and made up lies until I was frustrated enough to leave without my camera. This is the absolute worst experience Iāve ever had with a business owner. When I said he was being unprofessional he said āI never claimed to be white/professionalā. He equates whiteness to professionalism and so he doesn't believe in treating his customers with kindness...
Ā Ā Ā Read morecame here because of the reviews saying they were fast and unfortunately that hasn't been the case for me, the staff seem lovely, but after waiting for nearly 2 weeks when I was told one and then told monday on Saturday, then Wednesday yesterday, I have still not received my scans.
UPDATE:
I got a message soon after saying one or more of my scans couldn't be done and got 6 dollar credit, I explained to them that I was only living here for 3 months and couldn't use the credit again and asked what was wrong, they then said they wouldn't tell me over text, I then asked if they could make an exception and if I could still just pay and see which film does appear if they scan it. I have not gotten a reply on any of my texts, even after I waited 4 days and then asked again for a response, to me this shows this business is absolutely awful and I will not be recommending to any of my friends.
