My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Joe and Ellis at Prime Jewelers and we could not have been happier with the whole process. From the very beginning, they were kind, thoughtful and their prices were very fair. We had inquired at other big name jewelry stores, and also did some online research. To be honest at the other retailers, the sales associates did not make us feel like valued potential customers at all. And some of the online sites had sketchy reviews. PRIME JEWELER was referred to me from a steady customer . After going to PRIME JEWELER I find myself a Victim of PRICE GAUGING and Insulted by the staff.
Only afterwards I realized I was RIPPED OFF by PRIME JEWELER. I went back to the person who highly praised their products and service and ask her what are they doing over their ? PRICE GAUGING is a criminal offense. Or charging a higher price according to what the customer looks like .

They didn't want to replace the battery and lied about charging higher prices for unknown customers and lower prices for their regular customers.
Only after I dropped the name that gave me the reference they came clean . Then as I was walking out the door the Employee yelled out from their security glass "NOT TO COME BACK" .
"LOL" Like that was ever...
Read moreOver priced , garbage . The ecuadorian guy has a attitude selling , i went in for a custom piece and came out very unhappy with the sloppy job that cost me over 1,300$ on top of that the diamonds i paid for are not the same as the one he showed me . As far as the owner goes hes a nice guy and very polite but hes not a man of his word he tells me one price one day and another price the next . Would never buy from them again ! To be honest your better off buying in canal street or 47th street so you dont have to deal with amature jewelers like this . ( update ) - after well over 4 months the owner responds , if you were worried about the costumer service i recieved you wouldve adressed it sooner , and yes i know the diamonds are real that was never the problem , the problem was it was not the .60 ct that i paid for , these were way smaller and not even Si as you guys advertised to me before i made the down payment . Lastly i took the piece you guys made for me to get it re-done by actual professionals that stand by there work ! You will never see another...
