I was at Rainbow today 06/29/25 Sunday . I was a great customer whom mostly shops in this store but after today I changed my opinion. The red hair lady (Spanish) whom refused to disclose her name on the register was very unprofessional and she is a racist. I am so frustrated with her attitude. I took 3 sales items with on sales labels from downstairs then went upstairs to make my payment. That lady told me that the black pants is not on sale and removed the sale label and left the original price on it and I asked her if she is sure about it since it was brought from downstairs She said yes . Then I told her let me buy the rest of the 2 items then. She removed the 3 dollar sales label from the skirt and charged me 5 dollar instead. I asked her why did you charge me 5 dollar instead of 3 and she told me I told you this is 5 dollar skirt I said no you didn't tell me this.she was trying to hide the receipt by putting it on the bag right away. I think she was trying to save those items for herself. She was jealous of me seeing full of shopping bags on my hands. Then I felt suspicious and told her I want to return the skirt. Then she told me now you want to return it huh as if its a big deal for her with an anger voice and attitude and she canceled all the purchases I made and throw the 10 dollar bills on me and asked me to leave from the store . She canceled the whole transaction without my approval including another item and then told me first learn English. I told her you are very rude and you are doing this intentionally. When I tell her I am going to make complaint about you she forced me to leave the store as if she is the owner. I told her you cannot tell me what to do. Then I called 911 and created complaint as well as I created consumer complaint file. Meanwhile,she was making fun of me laughing and speaking Spanish with her collegues as if she is right. This lady is very jealous of the customer and she does not want people to buy something bc she wants to keep it for herself. She is jealous bc she has to work while I am shopping and buying. She created her own price and made up a price of her own or no reason and removed the sale tags from the price label as if it's normal. Thus lady was not here to serve customer or help but here to keep the items for her own and tried to overcharged to me for me to not buy it or give up on it. I was a loyal customer but that attitude of her really pissed me off. They are racist and just because English is not my first langauge she cannot make fun of me. I AM A CITIZEN and I will not give up with my rights until I talk with store manager about this lady. She told me she is a manager which is a lie. I know the manager and her attitude is very unprofessional. She tried to humiliate me in front of other customers by making fun of my English . I hope the store manager reads this comment and she will be get fired asap. I have been shopping in this store for more than 7 years and this is the first time I have had this experience. This person should be fired because she is not customer oriented, very very rude, and dies not deserve to be there and making bad reputation of the store and tried to make me look stupid in front of others. However, I tried to return something and ooomyyyygodd! On the first trip, I wanted to purchase something that did not have a tag, so the associate went to get another one and scanned that instead, never pointing out that I could not return mine without a tag. Sure enough, it did not fit, and the manager adamantly refused to take it back. Apparently they treat everyone here like thieves. I had my receipt, he could have found the sku and matched it up. Am I stuck with merchandise I can't wear, simply because RAINBOW SHOPS HIRES MORONS, AND ACTUALLY PROMOTES THEM TO MANAGERIAL POSITIONS? Yeah, the dress was cheap anyway, but it's about principle. The guy at The door gave me the wrong package and my package was given to another customer.The assistant manager told me to wait till my package return back by the other person. That was the solution he gave me. He refused to give me back my money with receipt of what was in the loss package. He refused to give me any documentation of what occur in the store. He forced me to call the police so I could have my own proof of my package left at the door was given to another customer and the store just took the easy way out.
