Rainbow Shops — Local services in New York

Their clothes are nice and affordable, good sizes, and usually on trend. The racks tend to be overstuffed and sloppy but other than that it's an okay shopping experience. That alone deserves 2.5-3 stars. My rating is because of the terrible customer service. They say they close at 8:30 but closed the door at 8. The customer service sucks because the workers are so rude. It's like they don't understand what customer service is. When the manager came to the door and saw me writing this review and another woman complaining, he let me, and others that were at the door, in. It was only 8:05 at this point. His excuse was that they operate outside of what it says online. He also said rainbow has x amount of stores and basically can't keep up with every store online, which is completely ridiculous. When I suggested they put their hours on the door he said they used to have it but it confused customers. That's probably because they were closing the door before the time that they posted. 5 even 10 min before is understandable but a whole half hour is reaching. It seems like they can't comprehend that the time you post is the time you close the doors. Besides this, asking for help feels like you're interrupting their day or their precious conversation amongst each other and help is a fleeting point in a direction or a vague one word answer. GET IT...

Okay girlies I just want y’all to remember that the nova and rainbow have the same vendors. This store has everything!! Cute outfits and the manger is very nice! I got there before the store opened and he let me in to browse around! Then he turned around and gave me a great discount with the promise to give a review and to return back. I haven’t shopped in rainbows in years and never been to that location but I needed a quick outfit for brunch and i found the perfect fit. Man at front wouldn’t let me in with my very small service animal . Was telling me To get out of his store because they have a lawsuit with someone else .saying my service animal could not be allowed in with me I suffer from seizures panic & Anxiety and need my services pet with me . He refused when I asked for his name he became rude and said for what and refused to give it to me . My pet is in fact a registered service animal told me I needed insurance 😭 horrible service now if I died in your store u ya would of been given a way...
