I feel exceptionally spoiled to have worked with David twice now. I am ashamed to say it has taken me this long to write a review for him.

The first time, after endless searching for that special ring, I came across his website and I had a feeling I had found what I was looking for. His unique wood-casting technique separated him from the rest of the field and the stones were beautifully natural and full of colour. But it wasn't until I talked to him, that I really knew he was the right choice.

We worked together under an unbelievably tight timeline (seriously, it was borderline crazy) designing a ring across three countries. We all want such a gift to be perfect for that special someone. David delivered. Regular updates - I was involved at every step and we worked together to make sure we got what I had in mind while also leveraging his considerable skill as a jeweler and artistic sense of what would work best. In the end he jumped through hoops to get the ring delivered on time (to the middle-of-no-where Canada) so that I could take it with me into the mountains for the proposal. Perfection. As an added touch, the ring is delivered in the block of wood from which it was cast - really unlike anything I have ever seen before.

Sadly, disaster struck not six months later. The first ring was lost. Grief-stricken we searched, but to no avail. Until something happened that took me completely by surprise.

Unbeknownst to us, a group of our friends had reached out to David, pooled money and asked if he could re-create the ring (as best as he can, his rings are one-of-a-kind after all). David agreed. He offered his time and his kindness and the rest as they say is history. We got engaged with the first ring and married with the second. To say that we feel blessed is a massive understatement.

I can’t give a high enough rating! I wanted a very authentic to me engagement ring, and I’m so happy I found Rigby Leigh. As soon as I got in touch with David about making me a ring, I knew It was going to be great. I told him all about what I was looking for, a lower profile ring, a certain color sapphire, design of band, etc, all based on the rings he has on the website. His communication was excellent - when I described something that I liked or didn’t like about one of his existing rings, he always responded with his understanding of what I was saying, which was not only always spot on, It put me at ease because I felt incredibly understood. There are some nerves involved with spending $ on a ring you haven’t seen in person, but It was his communication and understanding of my wants that put me at ease. And to no surprise, It was everything I wanted and more! He created truly a perfect ring for me that I feel so captures who I am. I don’t even wear jewelry. I have two small hoops in my ears that I haven’t changed in years and that’s It. Well, I don’t even take off my ring to sleep! It’s perfect, and I can’t recommend David and Rigby...
