So I just moved to the neighborhood. Figured I give this market a shot since its steps away from my front door. Nice selection, but pricey. Check-out was thee worst. As I'm getting my card out to pay, while keeping an eye out for my special needs child, the guy who bagged my stuff just thrusts it inches from my face. The cashier is just staring waiting for me to pay while im now struggling with my groceries and card in hand. So rude! Gave it another chance, today I needed a quick frozen pizza after i picked my children up from school, and my son kept saying hi to the cashier (9yrs, autistic). She blatantly ignored him and had the ultimate b!tch face. Finally, she said "Yea?" Like he was a peasant. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I will never shop in there again. Rather walk to Key food. Good sales and...

So Frankels is an interesting grocery...It's the only Kosher supermarket in Far Rockaway, it's walking distance to Darchei,but they're not well known for all their products,alot of times they run out of my favorite Newspapers which is a nuisance. They sell cholent only on Thursday night, which is interesting, they don't even have a takeout department, but they do carry Satmar Fleish products which is good. They also used to have many Shreibers bakery products but now it's mainly challah, overall it's an ok grocery,it's very similar to Wolf's Grocery on Nostrand Ave in bklyn,but the owner also owns The very popular AppleTree supermarket in Liberty,& another Frankels in Williamsburg, but they do carry snowflakes which is my favorite...
