Ruby's treatments are effective, painless and relaxing. I had been suffering with migraine headaches all my adult life--normally triggered by stress. Over a series of only 4 weekly sessions, Ruby applied acupuncture needles to open up the channels where my Chi had been blocked. My treatments with Ruby were always complemented by massage therapy with her staff masseuse, William (who seems to have the strongest hands on earth). Williams full body massages focused mainly on loosening up the areas of my cranium, neck, and back where tension was stored that brought out the migraines. William applied a variety of techniques, triggering various pressure points, kneeding through and loosening muscles. I'm happy to report that with the combination of acupuncture, massage, and stretching on my own, my migraines seem to have ceased at this point and my back/neck/cranial tension has lessened significantly. Ruby's Acupuncture is a little bit of Heaven in a stressful, rush-filled NYC!!! I have been to a few different acupuncturists and Ruby's Center is the BEST by far!
