Taystee Gardens — Restaurant in New York

Beware, the delivery person has been reported numerous times to 911 for belligerent behavior, driving his scooter on sidewalks, refusing to ride on the street and nearly pushing people (including an elderly woman with a walker, which I witnessed) out of his way. After nearly hitting four pedestrians (three with dogs) and calling the police, I followed up with a visit to the restaurant to make them aware of his dangerous behavior. People have complained for months. Unfortunately, he is still employed by Taystee Garden. He will be replaced only when customers choose to spend their money elsewhere. Ordered 4 wings w/ fried rice and they gave me some pitiful looking wing that looked old and there was barely any rice in the tray. My tray was not even half full and had the nerve to charge $9. Never again!!

😡Update: so the delivery driver leaving the store almost knocked me (a pregnant woman) off my feet and flipped his bike completely from driving wild ON THE SIDEWALK. When he got off the floor had the audacity to have an attitude with me as if he was in the right. So that explains the level of care they have for your food, or the lack thereof. I asked for a quart of soup which came out to 5.40. I then asked if he can give me a plastic small bowl so i can share with my daughter. He hesitated and said it would be 25 cents extra. I should have just cancelled my order right there and then. I gave him the rest of the change and told him to go ahead and keep the change. Stingy of him charging me for a small plastic bowl. Will not come back here again. It’s not about the money, it’s the principle of even charging for a small plastic bowl.
