I had flown business class on Saudia Airlines from New York (JFK) - Jeddah - Kuala Lumpur and return on the same legs. The service on the JFK - Jeddah leg was terrible. I had ordered steak and it was very hard. had difficulty cutting the steak with the knife provided. Did mention this to the cabin crew and I was told that the message will be passed on to the supervisor. I never saw the supervisor throughout the flight, although he did speak with same of the passengers asking them about their experience onboard, etc. The cabin service was terrible on this leg.
However, on the Jeddah-Kuala Lumpur sector, I felt like I was on a different airline. Excellent service by the cabin staff. Food was good. A business class menu was provided and suggestions were also given on various items in this menu.
