I came to NYC for a special gala and I already booked with MAC for a full face application. Since we were already visiting the World Trade Memorial, we decided to look around inside. My friend needed to go to Sephora to pick out some make-up and I decided to watch the makeup artists. MY mind was blown by how effortlessly they did their customers make-up. So I decided to cancel my appointment and book with them. And also let my friend know that she could get her make-up done when she bought products from them, so she decided to put her stuff back and wait until our make-up appointments. Long story short, I had Luca do my facial and prep my face to get beat down. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and such a sweet person. Then man oh man Sharon came and got me and asked me about my skin and makeup routine and what was the overall look I was going over. And let me tell you, she delivered! My face looked so flawless and I was in complete amazement. She has such a down to earth and willing to help vibe about her and we just clicked. I am so happy that I decided to come to this location because everyone was so nice and face was beat to the gawds honey! Whenever I decide to visit NYC, which is coming pretty soon, I will for sure come back and ask for Sharon! You go girl!

Wonderful customer service. From the time I entered speaking to this beautiful Hispanic women that kept the floors clean and shelves neat(she was such a joy). Nicole did my make up and I loved it purchases lashes and some Olly sleep gummies and boy did those work . Also was able to get my friends eye makeup done as well because she has never work makeup before and as they applied it they explained how and why they place it the way they do. Excellent customer service. Every lady in the store that worked their was phenomenal. Best Sephora I've been too since Vegas. Visit Nicole . Tell her I sent you 😁 I got a lot of compliments that night

I had a mixed experience at Sephora today. After seeking assistance from two different employees, I finally met Rahma, who went above and beyond to make my shopping experience efficient and pleasant. She quickly helped me find the six products I needed and made the checkout process seamless. This was especially helpful since I was on a tight schedule, delivering an Instacart order in the rain. The store itself is spacious, and despite having about ten people in line, the wait time was minimal. Rahma truly made the difference in turning a potentially stressful visit into a smooth one. Thank you!

I've encountered two frustrating experiences at this specific location. The first incident happened a few months back when the cashier, a young woman, displayed a noticeable attitude and rolled her eyes while processing my purchase. I greeted her, but that was the extent of our interaction. After completing the transaction, she handed me my items without offering a bag. When I requested one, she carelessly tossed the bag in my direction. I chose not to escalate the situation, thinking perhaps she was just having a rough day. While that doesn’t excuse her behavior, having worked in retail myself, I understand how challenging it can be, so I tried to be understanding.

Today, around 2:30 or 2:45 PM, I visited the store again. The young lady at the register didn’t seem very cheerful, but I brushed it off. As I was leaving, I noticed the travel-sized fragrance display and decided to take a closer look. While I was examining one of the fragrances, a staff member walked right in front of me and stood there without saying a word. It was quite obvious what she was doing, and she didn’t even bother to say "excuse me." Shopping at Sephora is becoming increasingly frustrating. While there are a few locations where I’ve received good service, many others have staff who are rude and unhelpful, making me feel unwelcome. This isn’t the case at every location, but this particular one has made my shopping experience unpleasant. I’m not sure if this review will lead to any changes, but I hope it serves as a warning for other shoppers. I’ve seen some positive reviews, and I genuinely hope my experiences are anomalies, but overall, it’s becoming difficult to enjoy shopping at Sephora. It’s making me consider going directly to the brands I love instead, as the service here has been largely disappointing, aside from a...

Horrible. I bought a bunch of things during the rouge sale (2 weeks ago) and went to exchange 3 items for another set of 3 items that were the same price.

Throughout my time in the store I was constantly followed and harassed by employees and the WTC security guard. Every single section I went into someone was literally there watching me. If I wanted to steal something I would’ve (I would never steal but what I’m saying is if I wanted to do something I would’ve done it already) anyways, when I get to the register I tell the cashier that I’m exchanging, etc.. one of my items were not scanned (at the previous store) not sure why but that was not my fault. However, the cashier made it seem like I stole it. She kept asking me question after question about the product. And called security and made it seem like I was stealing. I had bought that product weeks ago (again, not my fault it wasn’t scanned. I made a huge purchase during the sale so maybe they forgot to scan?) however, they made it out to seem like I was a thief when I am not. It made me feel very uncomfortable being followed around, constantly asked if I need help, literally being watched, then accused of stealing. I didn’t get the cashiers name but she was on the far left end, short, dark hair & had a ponytail in her hair. I used to like this location because of the big selection but I would never ever ever go back here. They were watching me for ā€œstealingā€ but I literally seen multiple people stela that exact day and they weren’t stalked or harassed but of course I’m black in American so I get stalked...

Whoever was the manager of this Sephora on July/22/24 around 2:20 PM needs to learn how to treat customers better. My 6 year old son who was calmly sitting next to me on the floor as I was looking at make up got hurt when an entire piece of pretty heaving railing fell on his face. It cut his nose, left a visible mark with a small amount of blood. I asked a lady that worked there for a bandaid but they didn’t have any. I didn’t ask for anything else as I was simply trying to console my kid. I assume she told the manager who came to check what had happened and the first thing the manager said was ā€œwhat was he doing because those pieces don’t fall off easilyā€. Apparently just because he is a kid she assumed he had to be doing something crazy even though he was just quietly sitting on the floor. Regardless, the fact that her first words to a client who had a crying kid in her arms was to put blame on the kid rather then make sure everything was ok is unacceptable. Any decent person would have asked if the kid was ok and he needed anything else like the first woman that worked there did. The bottom line is that the piece was lose, it was the store’s fault, and my son got hurt as a result. However, things happen and I would not have been upset had this manager had the decency to actually express concern rather than jump to blame. I wished I had asked for her name because someone needs to let her know this is not how you work with costumers. I was planning to purchase many items at the store but after that treatment I will be sure to...
