Slope Cuts — Local services in New York

Have been going here for 10+ years but never will again, has been really going downhill lately. Used to have a consistent group of barbers but now every time I go there’s a bunch of random workers who are brand new every time, never see them again. I asked for a fade as per my usual cut but the last barber who cut my hair yesterday, “Zach”, barely gave me a bad buzz cut & literally sliced my forehead open with the clippers in multiple spots, completely botched cutting my hairline there too. It looked a bit red and definitely hurt coming out of the store but I didn’t truly realize the damage until the next day - had I noticed, there’s absolutely no way I would have paid a cent for this hack job. I’ve had much better results from Luke and somewhat better from Juana in the past but I can’t take a gamble like that here ever...

I have a been a fan since the doors first opened. It's most likely the best place for any dude who wants a nice cut without pretenious prices. About Time! The crowd there is so diverse. They have a sensitivity the newcomer and a genuine desire to keep inspire to return. Max is my barber. His skillset is sick. Although he is approaching his prime, he hardly fails at helping achieve what they only try to put im words. The barbershop I always wanted and now go out of my way to get to since I moved out of the neighborhood. I've been going there for about two years now because someone finally knows how to give you the cut you're asking for and not what they want. They listen and don't pressure you into anything you don't want to do. They also give solid advice on what could work and what will definitely not work.
