This place has great things! However, on my last visit, I was overcharged for an item (ceramic coasters). When I pointed out the sign of the price vs. what I was charged, the salesperson did not offer to refund the part of the overcharge but told me the sign was a mistake, that she had recently increased its price and had forgotten to update the sign. She also said in passing that she would take the money off a future purchase but how would she even remember me if I ever came back? I think it was just to encourage me to buy something else in the store in that moment. We are all human and make mistakes but it was disappointing that the future discount was the only empathy and resolve I was met with. If you shop here, make sure you check prices with the salesperson because they do not honor items priced...

I came here with my girlfriend last week to buy a few gifts for our friends birthday. We had a charming experience and checked out a selection of super funny greeting cards trinkets and a really awesome selection of jewelry. The owner was very friendly, cool and down to earth.

I’m thinking this person who left a two star review was being a bit unkind in her feedback imo and I certainly hope she gives them another shot because the store is really awesome!

Homebody is like a quirky little museum, and the owner, Kate, is its incredible curator. If your sense of humor tends towards the offbeat or macabre, and you don't clutch your pearls when you hear a bit of cursing, you will fall in love with this place. If you're a dog person you may never leave, the shop dogs are incredibly sweet and friendly. Ask the UPS guy who gets kiss-attacked every day.
