Update On review a week later, after receiving the below response from the Salon: In the response to my review, note that the salon is not offering a refund for the absolutely unacceptable services they provided ; instead, they assure me that the roughly $150 I put out for nails that all were all falling apart by the next day will serve as a learning experience for their employees. Why would I care about that and why do their employees have to learn how to do nails when they are already employed at the nail salon? Do you want me to redeem you via this review ? Start by refunding the money which I gave to you, and for which I received no satisfactory services. To the general public reading this review, wait and see if they respond to this.
So disappointed. My daughter and I were in the city for the day. I got anc and in a few hours it was covered in dents. Had to get it refixed by my regular person in upstate ny because it hadn't been sanded enough. Paid more money today for that. Then my daughter's acrylic tips all fell off today. 24 hours after application. We paid 130 dollars and a 26 dollar tip in cash. I don't understand how The very service these people are offering they are unable to accomplish. Also this wasn't a case of one inept technician. 2 different people worked on us and both provided inferior results. A refund would be the right thing to do. I was going to pay with a credit card and would have definitely disputed the charge but they urged me...
Read moreSpoiled Diva is on point. I used to go to this spot frequently years ago because I worked in the neighborhood, but when I stopped in today it wasn't like I remembered.
Everyone is super friendly though. So that's great.
So I came in around 1:00, got seated right away, picked out my color and nail shape, and she got working. I didn't look at the shape until after she finished, but I should have because each nail is shaped differently.
I am disappointed in how they came out, not only are they misshaped, but they're also streaky! A good nail technician would have asked, "this color is streaky, is this fine or would you like to pick out another one?" I'm kind of taken back that she didn't.
She did a nice paint job, but I think the polish itself was the culprit and she should have pointed it out to me. Also, some of my nails were shaped slanted; what I mean by that is they are longer on one side than the other..... I don't get it..
Still on the look out for a nail salon I can regularly visit. Spoiled Diva used to be my regular spot, but I am not happy with the...
Read moreI came in here on a whim for a manicure. For an $11 manicure I didn’t have any high expectations, but this was by far one of the worst nail salons I’ve been to. I was seated immediately, but the entire manicure was rushed, and only took maybe 5 minutes. After they were done, there was polish all over my cuticles and nail debris underneath my nails from when they were filed. When I asked the woman to clean them up, she proceeded to take her own nail rather than a tool, and clean underneath my nail, and essentially implied that all that will be fixed when I wash my hands. They of course were still bad. At the least I expected my nails to be cleaned and painted properly....
