My recent favorite spot to get coffee-flavored ice cream. There is constantly a crowd wrapping the store but the line moved pretty fast (15 min wait) on weekdays, but 40min wait on a weekend afternoon.
I ordered a tiny cup at ($5.99 after tax). The price includes your choice of a scoop of ice cream, drizzle, topping and panna on top upon request. Tiny size was a good deal and great for one person.
Their menu rotates daily and they will update the flavors on story the night before. You won't see those flavors anytime soon once you miss it. But it seems like their signature coffee is a regular flavor on the menu.
*Cappuccino Crunch Daily special. It comes with a scoop of cappuccino ice cream layered with cocoa dusted graham crunch. I picked olive oil and sea salt on my panna. As always, you can't go wrong with their coffee flavored ice cream. It is a bittersweet delight.
*Red Flag, Mango Ginger Sorbet Red Flag is a regular flavor--sweet cream ice cream with strawberry swirl and graham crunch, while Mango Ginger Sorbet is a daily special. The former is generously swirled with strawberry purée, while the latter is refreshing and not too strong in ginger flavor (which is good for us).
Both flavors are on the sweeter side. My bf is a sweet tooth so he approved. He got strawberry drizzle and oreo brittle for the panna. Perfect combo if you like sweet dessert.
* Pumpkin Spice Donut Affogato Sundae (Pumpkin Stracciatella ice cream, graham crunch, market apple, cider doughnuts, pumpkin ganache dollop, cinnamon panna, caramel, espresso) The line-up of these orgasmic ingredients……it’s a dream come true. As a pumpkin/cinnamon/coffee fanatic, this harmonious combination of flavors is TO DIE FOR. I can bathe in this sundae all day and savour every bite of it.
* Halloween Special Chocolate Vanilla Soft Serve (Vanilla Soft Serve, Callebaut Chocolate Shell, Graham Crunch, Marshmallow Ghost) The marshmallow ghost was so cute, although its face was half covered by chocolate drizzle. The combination of flavors were rather bland as the sundae was simply made of vanilla and chocolate. You can easily imagine how it tastes like.
For me it tasted like an upgraded version of McDonald’s chocolate sundae, but the graham crunch did add an interesting texture to the ordinary sundae. It was also bigger and cheaper than their daily special sundae, so it was overall a good deal.
* Grandpa's Dream The best coffee ice cream made with an extra splash of Italian imported panna. I chose fudge drizzle and graham crunch as my topping. A thrum of joy comes over me in that instant - the panna was so creamy and ethereal, adding more depths to the ice cream. I was blown away by the rich and intense espresso flavor, and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to fall asleep if I ate it at night. Can't wait to go back to try their affogato next time.
* Peaches N' Panna Peach compote in peachy panna ice cream. My friend picked olive oil and sea salt as the toppings. Olive oil and sea salt gave a savory kick to complement the sweetness from the peach ice cream. The peach ice cream was a superb summertime frozen treat and freshened us up after getting sweaty.
*Purple Sweet Potato Pie The sweet potato ice cream was mashed with crushed cinnamon crunch and marshmallow swirl. Maple syrup was added to give a touch of subtle sweetness. It was rich in textures and depth of flavors.
I topped my ice cream with panna cotta, fudge and graham crunch (all for free‼️). Their creamy panna cotta is always spot-on. $5.99 for a tiny scoop of ice cream with free panna cotta, drizzle and toppings is an incredible deal in NYC. The portion is just right for one serving.
*No sampling, but trust me it's...

Caffe Panna offers a variety of tasty ice creams/sorbets in pint, scoop, or sundae form which change daily. I've only tried a handful of flavors so far, but I love the place because all the flavors are unique, taste delicious and are ... "chunky" (in a good, complex ice cream experience way?). For example, the Apple Crisp has bits of baked/soft apple and then crumbly oat crumble throughout the pint and the School Kid Snack Pack has nice mix of creamy meringue swirl and crunchy cookies.
Looking forward to next time I'm in the area and itching for ice cream.

Katie B.Elite 2022 New York, NY 17158211 11/20/2022 1 check-in I love that they have vegan flavors and allergen labels so it's easy to see what I can order but sadly they don't have a vegan option every day. Imagine how disappointing it was to stand in their 20 minute line to realize they didn't offer a flavor I could order once I got to the register.
I would give 4 stars if there was a vegan option every day and 5 if they offered two. If you're vegan you must try the chocolate gelato because it's completely unreal. If you aren't vegan you still must try it! When I got home I added a spoonful of chunky peanut butter on top which was sensational!
Danielle F.Elite 2022 New York, NY 32763125 9/24/2022 1 photo The two main items on the agenda were: The Runty Bundty and The Midwestern Mystery. There were pros and cons to both. The runty bundty had a sensational flavor but I also had to deal with uttering the phrase "runty bundty" out loud. The Midwestern Mystery had the appeal and allure that all midwesterners seem to possess, but I personally do not enjoy mixing my cocoas and citruses. My favorite part of the ice cream was the panna topping - I could probably have just panna alone and be perfectly happy. I would describe it as a more durable version of whipped cream but you'd have to try it yourself to see how that makes any sense. As for toppings, they could've gone a little lighter on the flaky salt and the worker preparing our order seemed personally affronted by the idea of nudging a wayward panna back atop the ice cream (which I ended up doing myself in 0.5 seconds). Regardless, I still plan on coming here very regularly to check out their constantly changing menu!

Read moreOn a warm and sunlit Wednesday, a friend and I made our way to Caffè Panna, one of those names that circles every curated list of New York’s finest ice cream—and for good reason. The line outside was brief, just enough to give you that sense of anticipation without the fatigue.
Once inside, the space immediately signaled what this place is all about—flavor, craft, and intention. There’s a soft energy here, the kind that lets the ice cream speak for itself. While there’s no seating, everything else—the polished service, the crisp interior, and the scent of waffle cones hanging subtly in the air—made the standing experience feel worth it.
We went for three flavors, each distinctly memorable.
Red Flag was a bold standout—velvety vanilla sweet cream anchored by a rich, unapologetically thick peanut butter swirl. It had all the comfort of a childhood flavor, dressed in something more grown and indulgent.
Aud’s Dream was light, bright, and impeccably layered. The sweet cream base was airy but full, a gentle contrast to the vivid strawberry swirl. The buttery graham crunch gave each spoonful a satisfying texture, bringing warmth and depth in a way that felt almost nostalgic.
Cookies N Panna was everything you want from a reimagined classic. Oreo-infused ice cream with a housemade Oreo brittle—it balanced richness with playfulness. The brittle added just enough crunch to elevate it into something special.
Each scoop was flawlessly creamy—structured, smooth, and deeply satisfying. You could taste the difference: the balance, the restraint, the quiet confidence in each ingredient.
Caffè Panna is, without hesitation, one of the top-tier ice cream experiences in the city. The flavors are thoughtful, the textures deliberate, and though there’s no place to sit, it almost doesn’t matter—this is ice cream that deserves your...
