My wife and I were looking for a private sound bath and found Surya Sound Temple through the website. We decided to book the "deep meditation sound exploratory experience." Siddhartha greeted us with smiles. His warm personality made us feel relaxed and and at home. Aside from the sound experience itself, the studio is like a work of art all on its own. Siddhartha has a collection of somewhere around 50 instruments, but somehow the space does not feel cluttered. Everything seemed to be placed with careful thought and intention. Everything was clean and tidy and felt like like cozy refuge from the chaotic energy of the city. There was a mat and small pillows for us both to lye down with plenty of space to get comfortable. Unlike other sound baths that are often limited to gong, singing bowls and tuning forks, Siddhartha is a talented multi instrumentalist. I lost track of how many instruments he played, but they included sarod, guitar, bansuri flute, keybord, tabla, khartal, gong and mantra chanting.
