Originally from NYC visiting from San Antonio. I bought this cooling bandana at this new pet store in Brooklyn (Brooklyn Pets). The bandana (Canada Pooch Athletics) definitely helped Bay with the heat! He didn’t pant as much as usual and when we got back to the apartment it took him less time to cool down. Usually he would stay on the floor trying to cool down for a while but I noticed it didn’t take him long before he got active inside again. I’m not saying I’m gonna take him out at the peak of noon and walk him at the hottest time of the day, no definitely not, he is a pug after all; but adding this cool (literally) accessory to his late afternoon walks definitely helps him cope with the heat a little better. Also bought Bocce’s bakery “Quack, Quack, Quack” flavor and he loves it! The staff also gave great recommendations, they were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and always feels good to come back home and support the small business. I bought a whisper 40 filter a couple of months ago, after buying the filter I went home and hooked it up to my tank and I noticed it was making a loud rattling noise. This was of course the day after buying the filter. I packaged it in the box again and brought it back to the store the next day. Upon me returning to the store an employee named rajely. Stated she couldn’t do anything because the box was slightly ripped on the side after I repackaged it, then I asked if I could have a store credit or help me fix the filter, but she went on to say that she couldn’t resell that filter due to the box being slightly damaged. Which makes me question what types of products they’re selling here. It’s a shame that she’s giving this type of customer service to customers that have shopped here before. I hope the owner of this place gets to speak to her because what am I supposed to do with a brand new filter that...

Nice staff and friendly service. I was looking for lights for my bearded dragon and they were super nice enough to look them up and buy them for me. Now I finally have lights for my bearded dragon due to them. For a place to make a order for you just so you can get the product that’s beyond nice sure they get service but they did the work and did that special favor for me now my bearded dragon is warm - they have a huge selection for snacks for dogs and cats as well as wee wee pads collars beds and everything else they need - BUT THEY ALSO HAVE STUFF FOR BEARDED Dragons and turtles !
