OMG!! Bren is the best. I never had an esthetician before, and luckily TheBar was my first stop and I never looked back. I don't get facials often but I should because my skin is tricky. Anyway, every time I go to TheBar, I feel comfortable and special. Bren takes her time and there are never other people there when you’re getting a facial done. I love how Bren is able to customize facials for your specific needs as well. Also, she’s detail-oriented and really cares about her business and clientele. She reaches out a couple of days after to see how you feel. One time, I did a facial that required LED light & a mask that covers my entire face. I suffer from mild anxiety, I warned Bren about this and she was able to work with me while providing me with an amazing experience! I recommend Her to my friends and family. Pretty much everyone I know goes to her so why shouldn’t you? I don’t trust anyone with my face (not even myself lol) BUT Brenda changed that. I travelled from NJ to Brooklyn just to have her “Bren Faced” facial. A friend recommended her and sent me her IG page, which I followed for over 6 months before finally booking my own facial. She uses top quality products and takes her time to assure she meets all your needs and covers all your concerns. I’ve gone to numerous dermatologists and have been diagnosed with different conditions for bumps I get on my neck - and nothing has ever calmed down my bumps the way Brenda did when she applied DMK actrol powder at the end of my facial. I LOVE the bar! I've patroned quite a few estheticians in the past and none of them compare to the service provided by The Bar. Bren takes such care with every aspect of The Bar experience. She asks questions about at home routines and skin care goals to tailor suggestions and treatments that are maintainable for you. She only recommends trusted products with proven track records, but never pushes anything on you. She personally reaches out a couple days after to see how your skin is holding up post facial. Even following @TheBar.Co on instagram is good for your skin because skincare tips, tricks and trivia are posted regularly. There is no shortage of praise that I can give this establishment.
