Had an ok experience in the store - the staff wasn't as rude as some are reporting, but not exactly courteous or helpful either - and the food I got was fine (and I appreciated the various South Asian offerings very much). However, they give customers limitless throw-away plastic bags, like super markets did in the old days before NYC and NY state banned single-use plastic bags. Hugely wasteful, and very bad for the environment (NYC's local environment, but also the global environment, as plastic bags contribute to global warming). Is it too much to have people to bring their own bags? Like everyone does almost everywhere else? For this reason, the store gets 2 stars in my review (not one star, for reasons above). Would have been much higher score if they were more environmentally conscientious, and followed the law (that matters, too, right?). Until they change their bag usage, I won't go there, and I'll tell my friends and family not to go there. They follow the law and eliminate their single-use plastic bag carnage, I would go...

Terrible customer service. My mother shopped here today, and the cashier outright refused to accept a slightly bent $20 bill, which, by law, is still considered legal tender in New York State. When my mother respectfully questioned this, the cashier rudely snatched the bill, then went out of their way to hand back change in crumpled, damaged bills. Such vengeful behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful.
While I have considered pursuing legal action based on this blatant disregard for customer rights, my mother, being the kind woman she is, has chosen to let it go. However, I hope the store takes this as an opportunity to train employees on proper customer service and legal currency...

As an English-speaking customer, this has been frustrating and, at times, humiliating. I strongly believe clear communication is essential to good customer service, especially here in the U.S.
Please consider placing the former night shift employee back on the same schedule. She made a positive difference, and I’m certain other customers feel the same. If things continue this way, I worry you may lose your English-speaking customer base.
Thank you for your time and...
