Being up past 3AM is never a good idea if you are counting calories, but having "Gyro king" nicely situated on your way home makes Keeping that diet irresistible. And that's exactly what happened to me last night, I simply was way to hungry to go home on an empty stomach. So I stopped in at about 4AM for a quick bite. While looking @the menu, and contemplating what meat I should get: the chicken or the lamb, the server asked me if trying both, would help me decide, I totally agreed, but It didn't help me much because both were delicious! so he just offered me a mix of both.
This $6.50 monster of a platter came packed with tons of veggies of your choosing, from chickpeas to pickled vegetables, a grilled chopped pita on the side (he substituted the rice - that I didn't want - for the pita), and obviously the two juicy flavorful meats that were seasoned to perfection, and if that wasn't enough they had the three amazing dressings to put on top of it. As yummy and fresh the food was I couldn't even finish half of it, it was way too much food for one person, so I took home the leftovers, & used it for lunch the next day.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wanna preface this by saying this place is definitely one of the best gyro restaurants in the Brooklyn area! The food is extremely delicious and also isn't cheap. I typically order chicken+lamb over rice or lamb chops over rice. Regardless of what you get, you'll be paying around $7-$15. This will obviously vary between orders. The quality of the food is already superb! Everytime I order, the is always fresh and as is the meat. Plus, the food is all halal so if anyone is worried, don't be! Now with the pros aside, somethings that I do dislike is how cramped it is. The place is very very small and you can only have around 3-4 customers inside before jt beings to feel cramped. Especially in times like these, it is difficult to maintain any distancing from others. Additionally, one big thing that did bug me a little was the fact that all workers (except one person who was wearing a neck gaiter) were not properly wearing those masks. Now I am not trying to be a Karen and hate in any way, but they all just had it loose and not actually covering their mouths and what not. Made it feel very unprofessional. Nevertheless, the food on its own is definitely a 10/10. But due to the tiny space and lack of professionalism, I'm deducting 1 star and rating it a 4/5.
THE FOOD IS YUMMY AND HALAL! DEFINITELY GIVE IT A CHECK IF YOU'RE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy order was just delivered. I ordered a tilapia on pita and lamb on pita with two sodas. The sodas didn't come and when I called to talk to someone they hung up on me.
The reason that I am writing this review is that earlier this week, I made a order. Which include the following, tilapia over rice, tilapia on pita and lamb and rice. When the order arrived, I saw that they had forgotten to include the tilapia on a pita. I contacted the restaurant and explained this the person that answered the phone, they asked for name and found my receipt. The person that I was speaking with insisted that I hadn't paid for that item and raised his voice. I explained to him that I am looking at the Uber eats receipt and it showed that I paid for that item. He continued arguing with me. I again insisted that he look again at the receipt. He looked at the receipt as I requested as saw that I had paid for the item. He immediately apologizes for the mistake and told me that I call Uber eats for a refund or I come by the store for an item that I purchased.
In the end, they did do the right thing for their mistake but after yelling at me and insisting that I had not paid for the item. Then to forget something today and hang up on the customer for their mistake is not...
