I recently had the pleasure of dining at Halal Lahori Chilli, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I entered this cozy eatery, I knew I was in for a mouthwatering experience.
The ambiance at Halal Lahori Chilli is warm and inviting, with a touch of traditional Lahori charm. The staff was incredibly hospitable and attentive, making me feel right at home. Their knowledge of the menu and suggestions for popular dishes truly enhanced my dining experience.
Speaking of the menu, the variety of dishes available at Halal Lahori Chilli is impressive. From traditional Lahori street food to classic Pakistani curries and kebabs, there is something to satisfy every palate. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors that transported me back to the bustling streets of Lahore.
One standout dish that I highly recommend is the Lahori Chicken Karahi. The succulent chicken was cooked to perfection in a rich and aromatic tomato-based gravy, infused with a perfect balance of spices and herbs. Another highlight was the beautifully marinated Seekh Kebabs, grilled to perfection and served with a side of mint chutney.

Read moreBest, delicious, authentic, homemade taste I am a New Yorker & have tried the most famous, expensive restaurants all New York, I won’t say that the food was terrible everywhere. I always go for the taste n am on the lookout for old-fashioned, home style cooking places. This week was lucky as I found the restaurant I have been searching for few years. The name of this hidden gem is Lahori Chilli on Coney Island Avenue. People who have visited this place they already know how amazing the food is. You must try mooli paratha & Alu paranthas. I felt I am visiting my family & they are cooking all these finger licking items. Also I tried rice pulao OMG i can’t describe in words how tasty that was with pistachios, raisins & Cashews. Also for breakfast I had chana bhatura, suji halwa. I haven’t tasted that chana in the most expensive places. Suji halwa so tast. Gajar halwa tasted exactly my mother used to make. I am Punjabi & vegetarian so love Punjabi food. I yet have to try more veggies like aloo gobi, palak paneer, sarson ka saag, bhindi. I highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarians & non vegetarians alike as my friend went there n loved the non vegetarian Kebabs n curries. There are some nice booths to sit down n eat. Fresh onions n salad is served with an entree. I plan to go 2/3 times a week. Staff is very friendly,Courteous,Helpful,Well mannered. My sister who lives in Manhattan is planning to go to this place soon after hearing my singing praises of this place. Bottom line you gotta try for...
Read moreI ordered the chicken biryani and chicken Tikka masala. The tikka masala was good, better than most I have tried ordering from places around, but a lil oily. They could go down a little on the oil but the taste was good. They were kind enough to give a complimentary naan with it. The biryani was a lil disappointing though. It looked really tasty but was dry and lacked masala. They could improve on that one. They also gave a raita and a mixed salad with it. It was a good experience and I would definitely consider ordering from here again.
So am rating this place again. I ordered for the second time in the past two days. Last time I rated it a three but today it's a five! Today I ordered chicken pulav and butter chicken. My previous order was chicken biryani and chicken Tikka masala, but today's food definitely hit the spot. The chicken pulav was flavourful and the chicken pieces were soft. The butter chicken was one of the best I have eaten, though I like mine sweeter so after adding a pinch of sugar it was perfect! This sure is going to be the place am going to order...
