Ok so received this service via Groupon. I bought two one for me and one for my friend. She went first for her Brazilian and I most likely should not have done mine. If you are searching for a place to try for a new wax service I advise to skip this one. This was one of the most traumatic experiences I ever had and Iām very sure they have many one time clients that never return. To start off my discomfort was greeted not with the friendly female voice that was the receptionist service they seem to hire but a trans man. I am pro choice of who anyone chooses to be however I would have liked the option to have a female wax my intimate area. When reading other reviews I can attest to the crock pot being used but it does work to keep the wax at the appropriate temperature so I will let that pass. I could also tell that the previous reviews of the double dip of the wax sticks was addressed as she made sure not to double dip however I was disgusted when the cotton swap used to clean the remainder wax off my friend was double dipped onto the straw of the bottle of aloe which was more than half way empty. I can only imagine the bacteria in that thing. I could tell that my waxer did not have any health certificate in regards to performing these services which could lead to a lawsuit in the future in which Im sure they will close down and reopen with a different name. The next day I was called to asked about my services in which I was too embarrassed to give an accurate review while at work in front of my coworkers before they thought I had some kind of infectious disease after my experience. The wax job still was ok however I did have to go home and rewax my bikini line. Luckily I have my own machine at home. I was also charged a taxes fee and because we asked for honey wax and hard wax we were charged an additional $12 each all together I had to pay an additional $30 on top of my Groupon but then told next time it would only be $35. Doesnāt make sense at all. Again I advise skip it and try another Groupon. My friend reminded me you get what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish this place in Jamaica was better because of the proximity to my home but unfortunately, it was not what I expected. Firstly, it was difficult to find using Google maps. Secondly, the room I received the service was sketchy. Not like the typical places Iāve been too. The wax used was in a crockpot instead of a waxing melting pot. The place was a little dingy and didnāt seem that clean. Thirdly, (receiving the service) This was the first time my wax was extremely painful. It felt like she didnāt know what she was doing and she asked me to help hold the skin tight so she could pull the wax. Iāve never had anyone ask me to help with a service Iām paying for. The most concerning part of the wax was that she kept reusing the same wax stick. Sheād throw away the stick after dipping it and reusing it a few times. Iāve never had any of my previous waxers reuse a waxing stick. Thatās incredibly unsanitary. Lastly, I was charged more than what I was quoted for and with the service I received I wish I didnāt pay at all.
I will not be returning to this spot. If cleanliness and quality of service is big for you, you might want to reconsider going to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent here with a Groupon for 60min facial which wasnāt 60min. The person who did my facial got a phone call and decided it was okay to take the call and instead of using two hands use one and kept touching my face w the hand was using phone until I got grossed out and asked to please get off the phone. Then does my facial and at one point insults me on my pores, and while cleansing my nose pressed down hard on my nose rings and tells me I told you take off all your jewelry, when I was only asked to take off my earrings. I felt manhandled and legit ran once I was done. I never felt so mistreated mind you I was treating myself for my birthday. She didnāt even ask for a tip cause I had...
