Clean delicious food. The wraps are especially amazing. The wings are big and tasty. But the gyro platters are the killer. Just a wonderful amount of food for the cost and is always fresh and is always wonderful. I alternate in between this place and the awesome Spanish food place across the busy avenue.
This area is very heavy on Pakistani and Sri Lankan restaurants, so is absolutely wonderful to have a Mediterranean place to access. No other place in the area has food or menu like theirs so it works even better in their favor. Great positioning great location orders are ready in 15 minutes, their sauces are wonderful. Try a gyro platter with either beef or chicken with rice and salad. Guaranteed to please. Sometimes the alternate the salad with the fries because those fries are really good especially if you're used to fries from fast food places. Chunky and fresh.
My advice, be careful with that hot sauce. Combine it with the white sauce especially on one of the wraps (the wraps...omg so good!!!!) and it is absolutely freaking amazing. It's a tough hot sauce though, your stomach may talk to you afterwards. I go for all white sauce at this point, but let it be known, whatever hot sauce that is it is awesome but you have to be able to handle it.
I've been a faithful customer for months now ordering food once or twice a week. Very much recommended. One quirk is that one of the guys that work there sometimes sounds very sad when you're making your order... the kids thinks it's super hilarious! He sounds the same in person as well but otherwise just respectful. It is funny to hear, but no worries.

Read moreOrdered take out and was completely disappointed. Reviews all sounded positive, but this place did not meet my expectations at all. We had a beef gyro plate, a falafel wrap and the quinoa tabbouleh salad. The”tabbouleh” was the biggest let-down: zero herbs whatsoever (no parsley, no mint), unseasoned watery chickpeas from a can, bland mushy quinoa, wilted lettuce, dried-out radishes, cucumber that tasted slightly rancid, and to top it off an inedible bruised avocado (which I didn’t ask for, hope I didn’t get charged for it). Not a single redeeming element. If I’d been dining in I would’ve sent this back to the kitchen. The falafel wrap was nothing to write home about — same wilted lettuce as above, no other veggies except for one or two strands of pickled onion. Definitely not an $8 dish! The beef gyro plate with rice was huge and seemed reasonably well seasoned (my kid enjoyed it; I don’t eat meat), and was probably the winner here, but definitely not worth going back for. I never write negative reviews and feel bad doing so, but I can’t remember the last time I received a meal with so many inedible elements. Hope I can save someone else the disappointment, and maybe this place will up their game...
Read moreThis review is for the tatziki chicken salad. After looking at some pictures here of the portion and size I was excited to try a good health food joint so I ordered takeout.
Order to ready time was quick, about 7-10 min. Parking is nonexistent, will need to drive around the corner to hillside Ave muni meters or probably inner blocks
Food wise, I ordered the tatziki chicken salad. Taste wise, was great actually. But I have to drop 2 stars for the quantity to price here.
The salad was close to $14 which coming from getting salads through manhattan, is generally ok with me. What’s actually insane is how small the portions are..
The salad bowl itself is only about a quarter full. So weird. A bit of quinoa and spinach would go a really long way here. Even the chicken was close to 5 chicken nugget pieces in size? Was way too small for my macros. I ended up looking for something else to eat within an hour. I would recommend halal munchies or any nearby deli salads, you’d actually feel half way full with one. Tasted like...
