We were looking on the Too Good to Go app for bakeries and found this place nearby. Each bag was $6, and we were excited to try and ordered 3 bags. Upon arrival, we were told we could choose any three items or have three items chosen for us. These were the three items chosen for us at a total of $17.97
The food itself wasn't that bad. The chocolate brownie was more pound cake in texture, a bit drier than I'd like but not bad. The cupcake was nice. The circle pastry was definitely a bit harder than it should be but still tasted good. I assume it's because it's the end of the days leftovers, which is why it was disappointing to receive only three leftovers for $18. We were looking at prices online and honestly seems like we paid what you would pay normally at the cafe during daytime.
I'm sure the food tastes much better fresh in the morning, but if you're going to put items on the Too Good to Go app, be mindful since the app is meant to let people in the community save more than they would normally get. Where customers get a few more extra items at a lower price and the restaurant gets rid of their end of the day leftovers that would normally get thrown out or not get sold. I don't think this is a bad café, just find that ordering on the Too Good to Go app has been a very disappointing experience. I think people may have a much better experience ordering regularly in the daytime, just not worth it for too good to go app users. I wish the cafe the best though, but some things need to be said to become...

Well, color me intrigued. A stylish little cafĂ© plopped right in the middle of Jamaica, Queensâsurrounded by discount shops and mom-and-pop gemsâwas definitely giving âsquare peg, round holeâ energy. Naturally, I had to pop in. A little glam in the âhood? Donât threaten me with a good time.
As a self-proclaimed red velvet snob (yes, Iâve had them all, from Harlem to Hellâs Kitchen), I ordered a slice expecting something homemade, moist, and maybe even life-changing. What I got? More grocery store chic than artisanal bakery bliss. For $7 a slice, I expected angels to sing with every bite. Instead, I got âmehâ with a side of âis this from a box?â
And the latte? Bless its heart. Somewhere, a single coffee bean is sobbing into its almond milk. It tasted like coffee had passed through the room and waved politely from a distance.
BUTâcredit where credit is dueâthe staff member working that day? She was an Absolute gem. Friendly, helpful, and radiating charm like it was on the menu.
Now, dear owner, if youâre going to hit us with Brooklyn or even Manhattan pricing, letâs tidy up a bit. The supply boxes scattered across the floor and the overall âwork-in-progressâ vibe donât exactly scream premium cafĂ© experience. Just sayingâIâve paid less for more in some pretty upscale spots.
All in all? Cute spot with potential, but if youâre going to bring the big city energy, make sure the cake and coffee show up...
Read moreI had a terrible experience there, I ordered two shakes and both of them came out completely wrong . The server didnât know what shake was what when we asked for almond milk in one shake and whole milk. She has told us that she made them both with almond milk. I went alongside my family who all has different allergies, such as nuts and whole milk yet she told us to taste the shakes due to her incompetence. I have a deadly peanut allergy and asked for a Kit Kat shake yet the shake that she gave me had peanut butter cups alongside KitKat in my shake. The owner of the store gave us a coupon for 15% off on my next purchase yet I will never be going back there. The place was overall nice looking but both the service that was given by the server and my entire order was messed up . The problem was really and truly the server who was working there. This could have been a deadly experience, I thank god both me and...
