I wanted to take this time out to thank you and your staff members for the Renovations Project of my apartment. First, Sandy, your professionalism and courteous manner made it easy to converse with you. You always took the time out of your busy schedule to talk and assist with any of my concerns/issues. In addition to, you always had a favorable solution that we both agreed on. And, if you could not assist me, you would always guide me to appropriate personnel. With that say, I would like to thank you for making it all possible to upgrade my apartment from pricing to orchestrating the job plans from beginning to end. You constantly kept me abreast of any delays or resolutions with completing the job, in a timely manner. I will forever be grateful for all you do for me as tenant. I, also like to thank Zania Farrouq, New Haven Place Liaison, for all her assistance and understanding in adhering to my concerns and giving guidance to remedy any problems with a high level of professionalism and follow-up skills. When it came to placing blinds for my apartment, it was handled in an expeditious manner. I was totally satisfied with the pricing, delivery and installation of the product. I greatly appreciate you meeting my needs as tenant here at New Haven Place. Finally, Team New Haven Place, Roy Chunilall and Maintenance workers, Jamal and Robbie along with other maintenance workers in the Renovation Project. You guys did an awesome job throughout my apartment from painting, installing appliances and minor repairs. I cannot express enough how pleased I was with the finished project. I was completely amazed with their work ethic and job performance during the entire renovation process. Top tier. Roy assembled and coordinated a team of workers, who were on time, efficient, hardworking and skilled professional and very neat and clean with the job assignments. Roy was outstanding with his approach to planning and scheduling the Project. He was fully engaged with his workers regarding the job at hand and the timeline for completion. The project was finished as promised. Over the years, Roy has always been the most reliable, patient, hard-working and professional Manager in meeting the tenants needs. Thank You for all you do at New Haven Place. Jamal, thank you for everything over the years with repairs and your friendly nature and professionalism. You’re the best. No job is ever too small or too big for you. If there is a way, it will be done to satisfaction. Always appreciated how you would go over the repairs with me and showing what was done and how to maintain the repairs. Jamal was fantastic in bringing his skills, expertise and workmanship to the Project and guiding other workers, as well. I greatly appreciate you for everything you assisted with the Renovation Project. The result was above expectation. Simply Beautiful! Robbie, thank you for your excellent job of painting my apartment and maintaining a neat and clean workspace. Never a drop of paint anywhere. Professional workmanship at its best. Also, I appreciated you and Jamal considering my living requirements inside the apartment and protecting and moving furniture with care. This is going to be my HONEST review of MY EXPERIENCE while living there. I forgot who my realtor was but he was a short man, bald head in the middle, he was very nice! Very calm and mild mannered, you can tell he is a good man. I lived in Zara's Building for 3 years. I will speak on both negative and positives. So in my opinion, the prices are a bit on the high side, it could be lower. Parking is non-existent, unless you stay home all day and can watch like a hawk to move on alternate days. AGAIN, this is my experience and my building location. Now, the super is pretty nice, very responsive and overall I never had an issue with him at all, you need something done, you tell him, and he lets you know when he's coming and he come, pretty simple! The building is clean because they do wax and maintain the floors, but if you do not have clean neighbors, well, then you will understand. You have to remember no mater how clean a building is, if you have untidy neighbors, you will have unwanted visitors. I have to say I kept my place neat and am a neat freak so I did not have much of an issue. It is a building so everyone has to do their part, take out your garbage and don't leave messes. No issues with other tenants, everyone comes in and goes out and minds their business. Honestly, pay your rent and mind your business and you will be fine. I did not have any issues while living there. As for as MANAGEMENT, I dealt with JACINIA SANCHEZ, and wow she was the highlight of my stay there. Unfortunately, we all go through things in life, and this is being an honest review, I would be late on rent sometimes, (I TOLD YOU THIS WAS AN HONEST REVIEW)! When speaking with Jacinia, when I got off the phone with her, I felt so relieved. She always made me feel better no matter what I was going through, She always had a plan and did not judge me on my circumstance at the moment, did not made me feel worse than I did! She showed EMPATHY, SYMPATHY, PROFESSIONALISM, COURTESY, and most importantly she CARED! You could feel that she understood what you were going through and she tried to help find a solution, found a game plan so you can catch up. She has a good soul and she is a good human, yes I said good human, because this is what GOD wants us to be in life, to help our fellow bothers and sisters while being non-judgmental, and unbiased while maintaining her professionalism. She is someone I will always remember. Zara Realty is blessed to have someone like her and every else needs to follow suit! I left Zara this year because of personal choice of wanting a new scenery, and parking, nothing forced me out, I figured out a year before and took my time to move! Like I stated before, I did not have issues living there, best tips I can give are to, mind your business, pay your rent on time, and if you are having issues paying your rent, contact them and let them know, they will advise you, and BE A GOOD HUMAN BEING! As far as reviews go I do not usually give a review based on a single experience with a company or individual. I also do not give a review immediately following an incident because the prevailing emotions at the time can influence the review negatively or positively. That would be a reaction and not a review. However, I am inclined to offer my review of Zara’s administration office as experienced through their representatives. Two individuals come to mind, Christina and Daniel, though one briefly and the other protracted. I have dealt with both recently. Christina was my initial point of contact and she was very cordial and professional. She was efficient and after taking all my details and reason for my call said someone will get back to me and someone did, Daniel. It was not my first time speaking with Daniel. I had occasion to speak with him intermittently over the past year. He is professional and knowledgeable of his process. Zara is in the real estate/rental business so naturally any conversation is invariably that of a landlord/tenant relationship. The expectation of a resolution in such a relationship is as acrimonious as a that of a taxpayer and the IRS. But in my case Daniel proved me wrong. Daniel handled my case with the sensitivity of a seasoned professional, responded within the promised time frame and the immediate result of the conversation was seen the day after. I must say that I was impressed. It was not a one-time occurrence either, for when I had reason to call again for a different issue the result was the same. Poignant, professional and punctual. Under stress or faced with cause of uncertainty Daniel is a voice you want to hear. Pleasant, grounded, thoughtful and confident. In my recent interaction with Daniel I was pleasantly surprised when the result of my inquiry resulted in an amicable resolution with a better than expected outcome. Though if the result was otherwise I would not be willing to say it was a fault of his. For this reason I was motivated to write this review.
