The worst Bangladeshi food ever I had in Jamaica, New York. Order kabab, naan, biryani,Mughlai parata etc, kabab taste like plastic no taste on , forget about the naan & Mughlai they served totally Burn, Biryani’s was so oily, tried to explain to them they act like they’re not responsible for this kind of food that establishes has the people who work in the counter they only knows how to take money from Customer. Avoid them will be a best decision.

This restaurant is just doing robbery from customers. Today i eat breakfast with my brother . Bill was 52$ when give my debit card one of the employe girl she swiped my card and she her self included 15% tip make it 64$ some change. At the meantime i asked her why you take 15% tip without asking me? She said to its not tip it's service charge . In my 17 years of foreign life i never seen like that . So please ignore this people.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Please don’t support these people. Hair in beef biryani. Flies on the food all over the restaurant. They have a B in their inspection. I called them to tell them I had a hair in my food it was so gross I spent so much money. They acted like they didn’t hear me and hung up. businesses like this need to be shut down and is a disgrace to Bengali food.

A COMPLETE SCAM with GARBAGE FOODS. RUNNNNNNN....

My wife and I had our Holud event (traditional South Asian event before marriage) in this resultant with 30-35 people. It was one of the worst decision I have ever made in my life. On the day of booking the place, Sayma who is the manager of this palace ensure us great food, accessibility to sound system for the event, full Air Conditioning, waiters/waitress available for 5 hour straight and much more. ABSOLUTELY nothing was done. LIST OF THINGS WENT WRONG... We began the party at 7 pm which is when they tells me that the speaker system does not work and how I should have arranged/hire a DJ. They failed to serve the appetizers until an hour in the event. We were promised to have soda cans, water bottle and tea service present at all times but nothing was placed in the bar area (where they usually place the beverages) until past 8 pm. The tea came way later than 8 pm. Some of guest had to buy their own tea because the teas were not readily available or was not announced by the staff that I (the host) already paid for the teas. Nobody was in the bar area until 8 pm. Finally, past 8 pm they serve the appetizers. And the appetizers were cold (although freshly served), chewy and watery. During dinner they played another trick. We were suppose to get Morog Polao but before the event started they spoken to one of my family member and convinced them to have the chicken serve separate from the rice without my acknowledgement. This resulted in, them serving white rice with some sorts of roasted chicken which was watery. Trying to pick up the chicken was impossible because it was oily and watery with absolutely no taste. And the eggs were just boiled and place in a separate tray. They were calling that Morog Polao. We were also told that we will have the area blocked off that did not happen. They did not put up the wall partition separating from the restaurant to our reserved area. We were also told that nobody will be coming here except our guest but there were lines in front of the bathroom which falls on our side of the reservation. Not only other customers but people from other the resultants came in just to use the restaurants. Finally, THEY DID NOT TURN THE AC FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION. I complaint several times. Even I had some guest leaving the restaurant due to heat exhaustion. They added $250 dollars for convenient fee/tips for her crew.

Summary: Foods are trash, manager is a scam artist (please don't fall for her sweet talks), the place is disgusting, no sound system, NO AC. Please DO NOT bring your business here unless you want to torture your guest with horrible food and literally melt them in...

Motin Sweet & Masala is a hidden treasure in Jamaica, Queens, that consistently delivers an unforgettable culinary experience. This Bangladeshi gem combines warm hospitality with a menu brimming with authentic flavors, making it a standout spot for anyone craving hearty, delicious fare. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the inviting scent of spices and sweets, setting the stage for a truly satisfying visit.

One of their crown jewels is the Jilapi—absolutely phenomenal! Every Ramadan, I make it a tradition to swing by and pick up some of this crispy, syrupy delight. The golden swirls are perfectly fried, with just the right balance of crunch and sweetness, soaking up that rich sugar syrup in every bite. It’s a nostalgic treat that elevates my iftar table and never fails to impress. Beyond the Jilapi, their biryani is a flavorful masterpiece, packed with tender meat and aromatic spices, while the chicken curry offers a comforting depth that keeps you coming back.

The service is genuinely friendly, and the cozy vibe makes it feel like a home away from home. Motin Sweet & Masala isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a celebration of Bangladeshi culture and cuisine, and I can’t...

Wish I could give them Zero and I should call food department and report them of selling Rotten food. I can forgive them for taking high prices of food but never forgive them of selling rotten food . After whole day of fasting in Ramadan month, when you put their good in the mouth , it’s fully rotten , strong smell and horrible rotten taste ! I bought food to have my Iftar and I ended up throwing up all night ! If I forgive them , I know almighty Allah will not forgive this. We spend our hard earnings to buy food and how do they sell rotten food to people!! Even you should not give away also rotten food to anyone! And in this Holy month of Ramadan must take extra care what you are selling to clients because most of the clients are fasting and they will breast fast...
