My husband purchased me a package called “Roll out the Red Carpet” for my birthday. He paid for the specific package and the spa wrote that it was the “Roll out the Red Carpet” package on the card. This was actually the second time he bought it for me. First time went great, this time I left crying. I completed all of the services and when I went to checkout and handed them the gift card, they said I owed them money. I asked what they were talking about, they specifically wrote that it was the red carpet package in the card, how can I owe more money? They said they raised their prices so now the gift card wouldn’t cover it. How can you purchase a specific package and then try to charge more after the fact? I spoke to the manager and she got very rude with me and said “I don’t know what to tell you, we haven’t raised our prices in a while so it is time”. She then told me that it says in fine print on the back of the card that it was a monetary value, not a package, but they sell the packages as gifts and even write what it is specifically for on the card. On top of it all, they are trying to tell me that it is for a monetary value and not the package we purchased, but they won’t let you apply it toward any other package except for the one you originally purchased. Makes no sense. Complete rip off!! And the fact they didn’t tell me all of this until I completed all of the services in the package. In the end, I had to put money toward my own gift that someone was told they had purchased. My nice gift turned into me leaving the spa crying because they were so rude about the situation. Do not buy anyone gifts from here!!! I would hate for them to have the same experience. You think you are doing something great for someone and it turns into a mess. Read moreI got a pedicure here a while back. As a gift from my mom. The girl was new she seemed highly overwhelmed and distracted and it ended up being the worst pedicure I ever had. We contacted them to let them know that. I was told to come in and my job would be redone. However when I got there I was informed that all the technicians were busy and that we had signed some contract that never existed. I took my time away from work to be manipulated and lied to. We spoke to management about this and they agreed fix it. But after the experience before I will never be back.
