DiZurts — Restaurant in Heath

The biggest thing I wished for my wedding is that it would be unique. And as much as I looked to Pinterest for ideas on my WEDDING CAKE, I didn’t want the majority. This was by far, the most difficult decision I made for wedding prep. BUT Tracy and Michael from Dizurts Custom Cakes and More made things so much easier. When I told her I was really unsure how to explain what I wanted she was so helpful. I had ideas here and there as to what I wanted but couldn’t figure out how to combine it. Tracy told me to send her my ideas and she would draw something up for me. She definitely knows her stuff and the next time I went in to talk with her, I was able to make a decision! I wanted something simple and elegant, not too over the top but with a splash of color. (THANK YOU Rita from Prema Designs for choosing and placing my cake flowers) My cake was gorgeous!!! We did a lace wrap around the top round cake and the bottom square cake leaving the middle round cake a different stucco texture. Tracy then placed one row of frosted buttons down the sides of the top cake and around the bottom of each cake. As you can see from the lovely photo take by Michelle Staley @michellejoyphoto, it turned out PERFECTLY. It was beautiful without the florals but they just give it that pop of color! Absolutely gorgeous cake!! I am so grateful for Dizurts kind and welcoming presence with us. They worked so hard and it was even sweet Tracy’s birthday! This is an amazing bakery, not only are the desserts out of this world but they are some of the nicest caring people who are all about their customers. I moved to Mt. Vernon and my daughter's bday was around the corner. Not only were we trying to unpack and get our house in order, my daughter suffers from SEVERE food allergies to include eggs. When I called Dizurts, the owner Michael was WONDERFUL. He was understanding and extremely accommodating to the needs of my daughter and when our conversation was finished and order was place, I knew Michael and his team cared about my daughter and her needs. When I picked up the 22 cupcakes (all different flavors) they were meticulous on keeping my daughter's egg-free ones in a separate container and took care not to cross contaminate with the others. When it was time to break out the cupcakes at her birthday party, I died and went to heaven. To start, the egg-free (and dairy free) were out of this world amazing. My daughter LOVED them. The guests also found the other flavors outstanding and insisted I give them the name of the bakery. They also accommodate Gluten Free dietary needs as well! So if you ever find yourself in Heath Ohio, this is a must stop; this small Christian owned family business will surely not disappoint and your taste buds...

This place is so sweet. The inside is very clean and beautiful. The selection was great and tasted amazing. We got the 4 pack of frosted cookies. They were super moist and so sweet. I got a Salted Carmel Cupcake- amazing. My kids got peanut butter something cupcake and death by chocolate cupcakes and they were so good too. Not just pretty, but delicious. They also got a little Easter Chick Oreo Treat and a chocolate cake pop in an ice cream cone. Those were sooo tasty too. Finally my husband had a maple (I think, it was light brown frosting) long John donut and he said it was so so good. He preferred it over the small tastes of each sweet listed above. He's a bit of a sweets connoisseur & he approves of this place. It was worth the drive from the Columbus Metro area.

I also want to add that the staff was incredibly polite, helpful, well informed, and most importantly PATIENT!! This made the chaos of having 3 kids, overjoyed with excitement less...
