So I will preface this by saying , I should have gone to an apple store. However, seeing as the nearest apple store was nearly 45 minutes away , I settled for geek squad. I went to take my iPhone 7 for repair on July 11th. I was quoted that it would take approximately 5-7 days for my phone to be repaired. On the 9th day , I was directed by the calling service to go into the store as they could only provide me information which I already knew. I went into the store and spoke to a representative. After 20 minutes of searching, the representative told me that apple had refused to repair my phone. When I asked why then had I not been informed , as I have been very patient, the employee had no answer for me. So here I am day 10, phoneless and a sour taste in my mouth. I went in because apple set up an appointment to help with resetting/ restoring my iPhone I was assured by geek squad all my emails , pictures, messages would be there as I did in fact have back up and restore enabled. I have a court case coming up and all documents, emails etc were never recovered or restored.
