Blue Sail — Local services in Newport Beach

I visited this shop yesterday and was excited to look at all of the beautiful dresses. Upon entering the shop I was greeted by an employee who was helpful until she was not. During my shopping experience she slapped my stomach and rear end and told me certain dresses would hide the larger parts of me, which made me feel very uncomfortable. She kept putting her hands on me to the point that I had to tear her hands off of me due to how uncomfortable she made me. I thought shopping for clothes would be an uplifting experience but I left there feeling bad about myself and never wanting to go back. The clothes were beautiful but the worker was very pushy and needs to learn...

My husband and I had a very nice time shopping in this beach store 6-28-20. The lady behind the counter was not only friendly and helpful with our questions (without being pushy at all), but she was kind and genuine. There's a boatload of clothing stores in Balboa Village and the Newport Fun Zone area so we really appreciate this gift shop filled with beach-themed items, wall art, souvenirs and just a few clothes. This place is a rip off. They tried charging me almost $20 for a small ball my son picked out. It was pretty much a small stress ball I’ve seen at Walmart for $2 When I mentioned how much expensive it was, they apologized and offered to bring the price down but not by much. They overcharge people for being tourists. I understand if it’s a bit more expensive than going to your local stores but charging 10x the price...
