I live in LA, but while searching for an ON store, I ended up driving to the Newport location—and I’m so glad I did! The store is spacious, clean, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming.

It was my first time trying ON shoes—both sneakers and running shoes—so I wanted to try different styles before deciding. That’s when I met Ed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He carefully examined my feet, even noticing that my toenails were slightly lifted, and recommended going up half a size. He had me try on multiple styles and explained exactly how each one should feel for running and everyday wear.

What impressed me most was his attention to detail and genuine care. He even showed me pro tips on how to tie the laces for the perfect fit and tied them himself with style! You can tell he’s passionate and truly knows his stuff when it comes to running shoes.

I usually wear a 7.5 and was a bit nervous about going up to an 8.5, but with Ed’s lacing technique and his suggestion to wear thicker socks, the fit was absolutely perfect. The shoes feel incredibly light, secure, and supportive—like I’m not even wearing anything!

I had a fantastic experience at the On Running store in Newport Beach! Adrian was incredibly patient and made sure I found the perfect shoe for my needs without any judgment. He helped me find the newest color of the Cloud Monster and even pinpointed why the previous model didn’t work for me—I had been getting half a size too large. He also took the time to explain the differences between fabrics and recommended the best fit based on my activities.

The store itself is absolutely beautiful, and I’m so glad we have one locally. One of the best parts is that I can now order last season’s discounted models online and, if they don’t fit, return them in-store instead of dealing with shipping. On Running’s sizing varies across different styles, so being able to try them on in person is a huge plus. Brian was so incredibly helpful as I navigated the foreign experience of buying a running shoe. Brian asked questions to help me figure out which shoe would be best for me. It was clear that I was being assisted by someone who was knowledgeable and passionate about the brand. His passion is contagious! I left with the perfect pair of shoes and I will definitely be back to purchase a second pair in the near future.
