Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Newport

I have always loved Ocean State for both the low prices, the huge selection of items available & the awesome deals you can score if you play your cards right. Since most of the items in the store are close outs, it's usually a "one and done" type of situation, especially with seasonal items. The only thing some people seem to get frustrated about is that quite often you really need to take your time & really go through the merchandise to find what you really want. I have gotten some VERY awesome deals here; for example, I purchased a $15 pair of sunglasses that regularly retails for $110 early in 2023. In 2019, I purchased a $700 water & fire proof safe with a biometric finger print lock for $240. The CrazyDeals & the online site to store merchandise has also changed the game in an awesome way. Their new "Site to Store" option offers such things as $3000 massage chairs, those $1500-$2400 electric bicycles & tons of other items both large & small. You find things here that you can't find anywhere else. I looked at Walmart for a plastic plate to make a DYI bird bath. I couldn't find any. Here at Ocean State Job lots I immediately saw exactly what I wanted I didn't even realize that would come with hangers so that I could make a floating bird bath because it's been 95°! So it's so happy with that. The prices are great I looked at other places Walmart of course and Home Depot. The tool items here are particularly well priced. And the gluten-free aisle as well as a variety of international foods are amazing. HUGE store with LOTS of very low-priced merchandise from warm winter jackets and sweat shirts to sheets and blankets, to furniture and groceries.
