No matter who waits on you or what day it is, they are always so nice and friendly --i had never been to a pawn shop before here and I felt weird going in but they instantly start smiling and saying hello and it just puts you at ease--its also very quick, and Ive always heard stories that pawn shops will hardly give you anywhere NEAR what your item is worth, like 10 bucks for something worth $100, but totally not true here-- they even ask YOU what you want for it instead of just telling you what they will give you--my item cost $149,:and I always ask for $60 and they always say yes--steve and Noah were exceptionally nice, courteous and quick the last time I was there--i would recommend this place to anyone, in fact, I live in Ohio, but once was in Newport and went there, now I still drive all the way there instead of just driving down the road in Ohio--i usually don't leave reviews but I like this place a lot and feel they deserve it, so I don't mind spending the...

Came in to just look at a ring that I talked to another gentleman man about a week prior, and had an awful experience this time. There was two young men working, they looked to be in their 20s or early 30s. When I walked in the young man behind the counter was on his phone and didn’t even look up. I very politely asked to see the case of rings that I looked at last week and he huffed and said yeah idk I’ll look in the back. After coming back out with it I asked if this was men’s or women’s because they seemed to all be huge. He proceeded to tell me “yeah you know I don’t know” I then told me that’s fine and left.
