Alright, buckle up buttercups, because I'm about to preach the gospel of Skyline Chili! Listen, I've had chili in every corner of this blessed nation, from greasy spoons to fancy-pants bistros, and NOTHING. I mean, absolutely nothing compares to the pure, unadulterated deliciousness that is Skyline. Forget everything you think you know about chili. This isn't your grandma's beef stew (bless her heart). This is a Cincinnati masterpiece, a symphony of savory spices that dances on your tongue and leaves you craving more with every single bite. And the CONEY DOGS? Oh. My. Goodness. These aren't just hot dogs; they're little slices of heaven! A perfectly steamed bun cradling a juicy, snappy hot dog, smothered in that legendary chili, a ribbon of sweet mustard, and a glorious mountain of finely shredded cheddar cheese. It's a flavor explosion that will make you want to sing from the rooftops! I'm telling you, if you haven't experienced a Skyline coney, you haven't truly lived. The service is always friendly, the atmosphere is buzzing with happy customers (because how could you not be happy eating this?), and the prices are unbelievably reasonable for the sheer joy you receive. Seriously, if you're anywhere near a Skyline Chili, do yourself a favor and GO. Order a 3-way (chili, spaghetti, and cheese) and at least two coneys. You can thank me later. This isn't just food; it's an experience. It's a tradition. It's pure, unadulterated bliss in a bowl (and on a bun!). Five stars doesn't even begin to cover...
Read moreFood is consistently good, employees are friendly and efficient. However my small gripe is that pre-pandemic, when I would dine in this establishment or any other chili parlour in the area, I could ask for heavy onion on my 4 way and there wouldn't be any added charges. Now, when I go through the drive-thru (almost every weekend) and ask for heavy onion I am charged 89 cents for an additional cup of onions that they sometimes forget to include. Also I feel that I have to order extra cheese to make up for the fact that drive-thru cheese portions don't match the dine-in portion. So it ends up being rather expensive.
I don't usually tip going through drive-thrus, but during the pandemic I have been trying to show appreciation for food industry workers; but it's hard for me to tip when I feel I'm being nickel and dimed on the stuff that never used to be an issue. I would definitely be more inclined to tip if these issues were addressed.
I'm just trying to provide some useful feedback for one of my favorite local food establishments, keep up the good work and thanks to all the employees who have endured through these...

I just spoke with Brian and he is crediting us for the missing items. He apologized for the situation and we will be giving them another shot! :)
This was honestly the only bad experience we had and I’m confident it won’t happen again!
Original Post We pick up food from here once a week or every other week as a family and have always been happy (my husband even speaks highly of the lady that generally runs the drive thru because she is “on it”). Tonight they didn’t put our 3 way in the bag and we didn’t see it until we got home...also saw no fries (though we weren’t charged for but ordered). I called in and they knew about the 3 way and we can come back in for it and if we want the fries, we’ll pay separately. They screwed up but not giving us 1) the food we ordered 2) the food we paid for AND we have to drive back out on the icy roads to get our food. We have regularly picked up food from here during the pandemic and like supporting a small business but this “customer service” is unacceptable....
