I’ve been going here for lunch for years. I’ve been for dinner 2 times, one of them being last night. The inside was closed for COVID restrictions so we had to go through the drive through. Here’s how it went:
Pulled up to the ordering station, was told they would be right with me. The woman then didn’t shut off her mic and I listened to her complain about her job, the register, and being busy for 2 or 3 minutes.
She then came on and took my order. I ordered 3 items and was rudely told to slow down. I started over and she then started mumbling complaints about the register or something. I ordered very slow and everything was repeated back to me.
I got to the window and watched the workers, wearing masks below their chins, bustle around slamming food here and there obviously frustrated.
I was handed my order and paid. Went home and realized I was missing several small things: onions for the 5-way, dressing on the side for the chili salad, pepper cheese for the 5-way (I got no cheese at all). My fries were cold. The chili salad was terribly made. A bunch of chili was poured on top of very little lettuce and the Fritos so everything was soggy.
We called to complain and were subsequently literally cussed out. Apparently the aggravated women working the drive through was mixing up all the orders and charging people wrong. We only paid $14 for our $40 order. We didn’t know this until we called to complain.
We were told “If they want to complain they can come back and give us out for Fu&$ing dollars.”
That was the resolution to our issues... we hung up. We won’t be back.
I went to Skyline across the street for years and I guess it’s time to switch back. I do feel sorry for the owner. They are a nice couple and I like lunch here but they might as well...
Read morePlease be mindful when you check out to really pay attention to screen because somehow when I tapped for payment I 'automatically' gave a tip. The tip amount was preselected. I was NOT cool with that. I have NEVER had that happen. I clearly missed something in viewing the screen so I get my part but not sure I like how it must have I needed to 'decline' a tip which is not traditional a tip option is presented Especially for a Walk in/ take out order. When I noticed the charge I instantly brought it to the staff's attention. And all they could say is 'oh you must have added a tip'. Must have!? I tapped...When did I have time to add a tip? Totally left a bad taste in my mouth. So much so I almost wanted a FULL refund and leave without the food. But I was back home after years away living in Atlanta and really wanted the staple GSC so I asked if they refund the transaction and allow me to be recharged and 'choose' my tip and or amount. The gentleman in the drive-threw clearly understood the assignment. But for some reason the son and mom staff were not sure how to do it. I was over it. I feel like although I needed to pay closer attention it was a slick scam. Not a happy customer... At all. Except the food was just how I remembered it but sadly I didn't enjoy it as much as I felt like I would have. And it was Mother's Day. So...
Read moreWent on the 13th and got a 4way with onion and 4 cheese coneys literally made it home and it was all noodles barely any chili it tasted like watery noodles for the 4way and the cheese coneys were so soggy no way it should have been like that on a 10 min ride home… got home sat down and went to start eating it was cold rainy didn’t want to go back out hubby called the restaurant to talk to manager she told him there would be a credit order. He goes today to pick up and some girl named Jennifer was completely rude to my husband and she went to call the manager she obviously told her to make it and she was just so mad then came back to the window and said to my husband you don’t have to be rude???? No I was on the phone he wasn’t and she obviously can’t work in customer service if she gets mad about a credit order from the manager or she was to lazy to do so… then after she says this to my husband about being rude he starts to talk and she slams the window in his face while he starts to talk and then comes back and tells him she won’t be getting the food even after establishing he would be paying for half that was there mistake….. and left him sitting at the window!!! Poor customer service and so...
