Someone once recommended I take my kitchen knives here for sharpening. I never would have thought of going to a hardware store for this service! I called today to see if this could be done same day. Most places I'd researched previously, wanted me to leave them for a few days. Not Newtown Hardware House! Now of course, I don't know if this is always the case. I may have just called on a good day :) However, I brought my knives over right away. I did a bit of shopping in the the town and came back about 30 minutes later. My knives were ready and waiting; bagged up securely so that I wouldn't cut myself! I even received a first time customer discount!
