long post incoming!!

the only reason i’m giving this place 2 stars is because the stockers were nice and helped me out the best they could. the extra star is also for the cleanliness.

i shop for other people and every time i come here, it seems like whatever cashier i get has a stick up their ass and wants to make sure everyone knows it. today i came in and realized i forgot something and said i was going to LITERALLY RUN back to get it to be as quick as possible (i was on a time crunch and was already a little bit over) and conner decided that was going to be an issue and slammed his finger on the keyboard and rudely said “ok well i’m pausing your order”. ok, no big deal. the way he went about it was a little rude but that’s besides the point. i literally ran back and got what i needed in about 10 seconds (20 tops) and when i get back, he pushed my cart out of the way and started checking other people out. when it was my turn again, i put my stuff on the belt and paid for it. instead of just scanning the suspended transaction receipt and adding the rest on there (like you’re supposed to do), he finished with the rest of the cart and then proceeded to tell me that first half wasn’t paid for. he scanned the receipt and i tried to pay again and it declined because i had already used it to pay for what wasn’t rung up originally (the first half was in another cart). i once again had to pull myself off to the side and contact customer service to get me a new debit pin. when i get back i was on the phone and asked customer service if i was good now and could continue and once again conner rudely said “i don’t know!”. looks like i ruined his day because he has a job! the other day i came in and the lady that checked me out was pissed off that i didn’t know exactly how many bags i was going to need and rudely cut me off by saying “you can just have them”. i think yall seriously need to look into who you have as cashiers because there’s no way this happens to only me every time.

second thing is that every time i’ve come here for an order, they almost never have anything in stock, and if they do, it’s in the most inobvious place you could possible think of. what should take you 45 minutes ends up taking an hour and 20 because you can’t find anything you need because it’s not where it should be. i end up having to refund at least half of what the customer is shopping for because they never have it. last time i was in here my partner asked and the guy sounded annoyed when he said “we don’t have anything dude. it was busy today”. if yall are so understocked why even be open then. i don’t get it.

out of the 4 times i’ve shopped for others here, today was the last straw. every time i’ve come here it’s not been great but today was the icing on the cake. do better and hire better since you’re paying the cashiers $16 an hour to LITERALLY sit there and have small talk and not be as rude as possible....

I have been a customer of theirs Aldie for years. Love the value and quality of the products that I get. Recently you restructured the store and re-organized all products. Although I understand it will take time to get used to the new layout from what I can tell it makes absolutely no sense. All of the heavy items are at the end of the cycle the store which crushes all other items in your cart. In addition you have canned items all over the store nothing is organized. There’s absolutely no thought to this plan whatsoever as far as I can tell other than slowing me down and causing me to purchase more. Extremely disappointed with this design. If this is the layout for all Aldi’s I may consider...

We love aldi. They have good prices and a good selection. For the most part, the staff is friendly and helpful. I will say that I've bought produce on multiple occasions that when taken home realized it was rotten. This store is about 20 minutes away, so 40min round trip just to return produce.

I will say, their bathroom is very off putting. It is very dated. Their is visible mold growing in the tiles and the toilets/sink aren't clean. Ick. 🤢 They updated their store, I do wish they'd do the same with their restrooms and...
