This place filled me with pride! I truly believe they’re doing an amazing job bringing this Venezuelan experience to life. The flavors are straight out of Venezuela—authentic and unforgettable. The empanadas are world-class, and let me tell you about the patacones—you HAVE to try them. But fair warning: they’re messy (don’t say I didn’t warn you!), and they’re so big they can easily feed two people. The carne mechada tastes like something my grandma would’ve made, and the pork? 100% real Venezuelan flavor. The cachapas? Made in-house and absolutely phenomenal. And oh my goodness, that blackberry juice—they bring it straight from El Valle in Mérida!
The service was incredible! You can tell these guys are passionate about making sure you have a great experience. I’m pretty sure the people who served us were the owners themselves—they’re that attentive and committed.
This place is BUSY, and for good reason. It’s clear you’re in the right spot when the line never stops.
The decor is perfect—a mix of Venezuelan and American vibes. I loved the screen showing beautiful Venezuelan landscapes, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere.
Spotless. Absolutely clean and impeccable.
The music was on point too—some of Venezuela’s best artists and a variety of rhythms while we were there.
The prices? Totally worth it. This isn’t just street food—it’s an incredibly delicious and enjoyable experience. You leave feeling refreshed, and honestly, the prices are very reasonable for what you get.
Oh, and the temperature inside? Perfect.
I’m leaving a big piece of my heart here along with all my best wishes. I hope this place expands to every corner of the U.S. May God bless them on their journey!
A couple of suggestions: • Provide metal utensils for those unfamiliar with patacones (gringos, I’m looking at you!). • Open locations in every city in Indiana, please!
I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of all the food—we were starving! I promise I’ll take some next time.

There are so many Mexican restaurants in Indiana, but Venezuelan cuisine has so much to offer this country. Places like this help us stand out and showcase our unique flavors...
Read moreUnexpected and delicious! We loved everything we tried. We tried the pasteles and empanadas for our appetizers. We personally liked the pasteles better. The empanadas just had a little more of a fried/grease taste. They are small and 6 in each order was not too much. We both got arepas. My husband got the shredded beef and i got the steak. Both were amazing but the shredded beef had more flavor.
When we pulled up, I was expecting a restaurant so it threw me off and we almost turned away to find a different place. It’s a bus WITH seating inside. It’s small and the kitchen is in the back of the bus. There are a couple 4 top tables and then some bar style seating. Service was fast. It’s a bit cramped so I would recommend it for really young kiddos for eat-in service.
Fun experience...
Read moreMy friend and I checked this place out before a concert at the Ruoff, and it was DELICIOUS! We Ordered the full Venezuelan mix and the chicaron plate as appetizers, and we each got an arepa as our main dish. I got the steak to arepa house, and my friend got the pabellon arepa. Everything was seasoned very well! The Venezuelan mix had a great variety of their tasty treats, and the chicaron were crunchy, juicy, and flavorful! Both arepas were full of flavor and texture. The atmosphere was really cool. It's a bus they converted into a restaurant, so there's not a lot of seating, but they also have a couple picnic tables outside to sit at as well. It's not air conditioned, so be prepared to sweat on hot days! I HIGHLY recommend...
