TL:DR Terrible customer service, botched the repair. Avoid this store at all costs and go to the keystone one. It's worth the drive.
Took my phone in to get a new glass screen. Was told it could be easily done within a few hours and left. Coming back, I was told that they, "could not get the phone to pass the Samsung waterproof test and that they legally not give me the phone repaired due to this fact. The keystone store, whom repaired it previously had no issues with this test. They informed me the phone was now not waterproof and Samsung would not touch the phone, and my only option was to go to their competitor. So I left and called the keystone store, who said they would keep the phone till it did pass the test. I was on my way to drop the phone at the keystone location (who had previously worked on the same phone and had no issues repairing it as well as returning me the phone completely in factory condition), and the back glass completely came off. So they completely botched the repair and handed me a more broken phone. Even further, the back glass was completely scratched up and was now not in, " like new" condition.
Livid, I called their corporate line, and filed a complaint. The tech on the phone was very confused as the tech notes stated, "The phone is in like new condition and the interior is perfect". Which begs the question on why they could not repair the phone. I was referred to their resolutions team and after a few days of bickering, I was told to return to the Noblesville store, where they would (as per the resolutions teams words, "HAPPILY", replace the back glass free of charge and replace the phones front glass.
Returning to the store, the tech greeted me and stated, "We guarantee nothing, the same thing can happen as last time", and when I referred to the broken glass tried to attempt to not understand what I was talking about and played stupid about not seeing the very deep and visible scratches.
Somehow, either through God's prayer or sheer luck, they repaired the phone. No sorry about the back glass, no sorry about their terrible customer service, no explanation on how they were able to repair it after I complained to corporate. I imagine the corporate call was the only reason they decided to properly repair my phone.
Edit: Also I forgot. They charge you for the amount it takes to replace the factory AMOLED screen when they replace it with an LCD, even though they're partnered with Samsung and state they...
Read moreI have a 2024 Motorola razr+. My internal screen protector needed replaced and Motorola themselves set up the appointment for me at this location as the uBreakiFix website says this location can provide such service. I even checked myself and tried booking on my own. I am not from the Indianapolis/Noblesville area so making the trip with a newborn is a whole day event.
Well 3 separate visits later and I still have not been able to get my screen protector replaced. The first time I understood, I got sent over last minute from the Carmel uBreakiFix store. They said they only had 1 protector left in stock and preferred to have 2 available in case they messed up the first and that they were ordering more. Okay cool, I said I'd come back the next week. Go back about 10 days later, the person working the front says they don't have any of them in stock and there's been no recent orders for them. They said they had the 2023 plus in stock and the 2024 regular version in stock but they didn't even have the device needed to apply the 2024 + version. However, this guy assured me he placed an order for the correct version and would talk to the manager or owner or whatever and make sure they have the necessary device but he was out of office until the end of the week so come back next week. Okay cool. Couldn't make it in the following week but finally made it in this week, about 3 weeks after that interaction. I thought that can't hurt though, surely the right protectors have come in by now and they've found the right application device. Well this new 3rd guy told me "oh sorry, we don't do that here. There's an AT&T down the street and they could probably tell you who can do that for you." Okay cool. At this point, I was so over it, after three separate trips to the greater area Indy area with my newborn, I just said okay thanks and walked out.
As much as it is Motorola's fault - they keep sending me here because uBreakiFix lists themselves and SPECIFICALLY THIS LOCATION as a location that CAN replace the 2024 + razr internal screen protectors. I'm not sure if it's a corporate issue or not but the owner or manager of this location NEEDS to make sure they are unlisted to provide such service or start actually providing...
Read moreI am giving 2 stars based on my experience. I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this bugged me. I called and made an appointment to swap out the screen from my Google Pixel 7 and they confirmed they could do that and had a screen replacement available. Upon dropping it off, they asked if anything happened to the screen, which was mentioned that there was water damage. That changed the whole course of the inspection, where they first now wanted to do some diagnostics to see if there were any further damages beyond the screen. According to Adam, there was and that it would not be worth trying a new screen since it would 'not work anyway'. Now I'm an electrical engineer, I was baffled and didn't believe it. The phone was still working and sending/receiving signal even as the screen slowly started turning black over a course of a few days from water damage. I wanted them to at least try a new screen and they wouldn't listen to me, they were smarter than me. When I picked up the phone, Adam had left for the day so I dealt with another guy who really seemed irritated I came in about 30 mins to closing time or whatever. I tried to get more details about the inspection and he was very short and told me the typical spiel about liquid damage indicators (LDIs, etc.) that means they can't repair the phone and they gave no report or pictures about the inpsection. So I left and purchased a screen online and swapped it myself AND THE PHONE WORKS!! I was willing to give UbreakiFix my business and just have my phone screen replaced as I requested. I guess the lesson is, don't tell them it had water damage. Something fishy is going on here. When I swapped the screen, the board and screws looked untouched. No bends in the tape holding over the battery and what not. I have full review of this on my YouTube Channel. Just search UbreakiFix Noblesville Indiana and you will find it. I even have the voicemail in the video for evidence of the reason they couldn't swap the phone screen. Don't throw away your phone just yet, swap it yourself if UbreakiFix is unwilling to at least try swapping it. This gets 2 stars because I am at least grateful they did not charge for an...
