Menards — Local services in Norfolk

As busy as Menards are or is Monday through Saturday and especially on Sundays I went up there Saturday and saw the Menards had a great selection of flowers that came in those flowers didn't weather through the storm cuz they were still beautiful not broken a torn over don't look like any damage was ever done to any of the flowers so I suggest that they flowers either came in after the storm or that morning I got there they had a beautiful selection of blooming flowers Vines nice color selection that you can mix and make a yard flower bed a garden look even more beautiful price wise they're great I just wish Norfolk had a nurse nurseries around here to have a nice selection of colors and different types of flowers it seems like every nursery around here carries the same things I know it's the zoning for planning and growing flowers and trees and shrubs but who's to say what will go around here if you never try I just went through a winter in Norfolk Nebraska that I never really saw snow come down I'm pretty sure most people's butted flowers came back even sooner and beautiful and Fuller so who's to say next year we'll get any snow so I wish norfolks nurseries and garden centers and places will come up with a better selection and colors for summer spring and fall seem like everyone carries the same selections some are bigger some are Fuller summer buddy summer flowering and all ends they all look the same price wise they're different but I'm willing to pay a few dollars more to see a flower flowering or a bud growing better than the last damn it's nursery I was in but Menards I give you four stars because I can walk into your facility and come out with more than what I went in for your little pricey but when I walk into your facility it's clean it's organized and it's roomy you have a nice selection and your staff the customer service is all what I care for when I go into a business so Menards I gave you before Stars keep up the good works the selections and you'll keep continuing having my business I am a home Depot store Lowe's type of guy but since none of that is in this town and I don't believe in traveling outside of city limits to where I live to spend my money Menards thanks for staying around and thanks for giving this community a place to shop at and spend their money you have a nice selection in building materials from plumbing to electrician to roofing to gardening flower beds I'm pretty sure Menards there's not one thing I can find inside your place that I could find anywhere else that would take me two and three and four stores to find it at and the one time I went there to get flowers and your selection was picked over I could say maybe because it's the wrong time but I give you this you didn't disappoint me the next time I went there looking for flowers you have a nice selection and vegetables herds trees shrubs buds annuals and perennials and a nice selection and rocks bricks blocks pots potting soil mulch with your facility you can care for any line in any way possible any garden any home thanks for having me a part in this community and doing your part as a company and franchise to stick around and these hard times keep up the good work keep on hiring those great people you hire there cuz your service is friendly and their...

First thing I want to say is that, my family and I shop at this Menards a lot. I'm there at least once a week. Before I have always loved this store, it is (well was) my favorite store in all of Norfolk. Tonight my husband and I went in to buy a new vanity and supplies as we are re-doing our bathroom. Anyway, I looked for a while the first time (not terribly long) for someone to come help us. We got one lady and she was honest and told us that the bathroom and plumbing department wasnt her area of knowledge and she would get us someone who works particularly in that department. Thanked her as she went on her way after she radioed for someone to come us. The gentleman that came to help acted like from the get go that we werent worth his time. We found the vanity that we wanted and he showed us where the vanity tops and the specific faucet that we needed was. As soon as we started looking he walked off. Okay no big deal, we figured he'd come back. As we told him we'd go right back to the display to pick up what we wanted! So we picked out our stuff and I went back to the display while my husband went to get his stuff that he needed. I waited and waited, after about 10 minutes i went to the front desk and asked the lady behind to have someone help me by the vanity display. She said okay and that she would send someone over. Another 10 minutes go by and at this point I'm getting irritated. I went to ask again, she said okay again. This time i only waited 6 minutes. I went one more time and this time another lady was speaking to the same lady I had previously asked for to have someone help me. So i asked the other lady if she could send someone to help us. She said she would. Another 5 minutes went by and my husband came back to me as he finished getting what he needed. At that point i had him put back all of our bathroom stuff that we planned on purchasing. We also plan on remodeling our bathroom and kitchen now with Carhart Kitchen and...

Ordered carpet from Menards and was sent the wrong carpet but was packaged and labeled as the correct carpet that i ordered. I paid my contractor to install it and got home after work and noticed it was not the carpet we ordered they sent us kingsfield gray instead of brown. I never noticed it because the carpet was rolled up and packaged in plastic surrand wrap. I sent all the proof to corporate with the carpet sample we ordered along with a piece of the carpet they sent me which was wrong and simply asked for a refund since the carpet was already installed and they were the ones to mess to mess up my order. I got told to uninstall my carpet from my stairs and they will send the correct carpet. I've also spent over 5k in the store in the past two months buying siding, shingles, windows ect. They obviously don't take care about the small guy. I would not recommend buying any flooring...
