Velvet Lily — Local services in Norman

I was SO beyond excited when this store opened in lil ol Norman!!!! Oklahoma has been SERIOUSLY in need of some quality designer resale stores for a very long time. The bags/accessories/jewelry are in wonderful condition, and the owner was extremely sweet and knowledgeable about every item in her store. She talked to my mom and I for almost an hour, and showed us countless items, also let us know she could find any item we might want in the future. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything, but I wanted to buy out the entire store (if I had the money). She has a million adorable vintage bags, and gorgeous jewelry- even Mikimoto which I’ve NEVER seen anywhere in Norman. It is refreshing to chat with someone who is as passionate about designer goods as my mom and I are!! The bad reviews on Velvet Lily have been left by folks who have never been customers of this small business, which is really disappointing to see. Reviews of a business should be based off YOUR own personal experience as a CUSTOMER. In conclusion, I will still be complimenting Velvet Lily to every friend or even stranger...

Was shopping in green doctor and a woman from this shop came in freaking out about parking spaces??? I’m just trying to get some green and she comes in recording employees freaking out yelling and banging on the door and windows. When I left I checked to make sure I was in an okay spot and I noticed there is no markings for any spot to be reserved for their business. By the way, the reviews that Velvet Lily responded to and claimed they have "no record of interaction with"-- are people (NOT CUSTOMERS) who have been harassed by the business owners in the public parking lot. It's honesty disgusting watching the people of Velvet Lily try to play the victim, as their behaviors actively harm the surrounding businesses. They have been working extremely hard to get truthful reviews removed from Google as well. I would highly recommend going to Plato's Closet that's a couple doors...
