It is frustrating to spend 30 minutes in traffic on an “Erev Shabbat” only to arrive and find that for one reason or another the store or deli have inadvertently closed early! Unfortunately, this has been my experience on _multiple occasions _ at this establishment.
As a courtesy to Moti’s customers who are Google maps users: It would be very helpful if Moti’s would update their closing hours for Friday’s when they close earlier than 3:00pm to prevent frustration. Due to my repeatedly arriving on time and still finding the store closed, I prefer traveling further (up to 40 minutes in traffic) to one of their competitors, because at the alternative establishment, I have never once experienced the same frustration - because they were always true to their posted hours (even at the deli section).
Unfortunately, I tried to go to Moti’s again on 12/8/23 in hope that their Google map’s closing time of 3:00 pm would be accurate. Sadly they closed early, again!
Customers should be advised that the store hours may be inaccurate and misleading. Several times I have arrived at Moti’s when the deli has closed early (or that no employee could be seen anywhere near the deli counter).
Additionally, I have in the past been concerned due to observing problems associated with cleanliness. I hope that those...
Read moreCustomer service is awful. I've been shopping at the store for decades, before Moti ever heard of Kosher Mart. Last week I had trays for 20 ordered for my Dad's unveiling. There wan't enough lox to go around. Not even enough for the second half of my bagel. It's less than $10/LB at Costco, must cost them less - they charge $14/HEAD. We had a dozen bagels left and no lox (but tons of chopped kale -inedible garnish garnish and more garnish). For some reason this bothered me more than it should and I was determined to talk to Tracey owner/my-order-taker about it. I tried to reach her Sunday, either got no answer or someone who "pretended" to take a message. No one answered phones on Monday. Tues I got ahold of her, told her of my disappointment. She said she would look into it and get back to me later that day. That was a week ago. Next time I'm going to GOLDBERGS BAGELS...
Read moreAlways have a positive shopping experience at Moti's kosher market. I go for an item or two and leave with bagsful!!!! The selection of fresh meats and chicken is extensive, and ready to cook specialties abound. Always end up with prepared foods and packaged frozen items, as well! There are not a lot of in house baked goods, but there is variety and there are many imported and packaged choices plus their own delicious challah and fresh pita toward the weekend.
A favorite treat is ordering their small and simple meals for five. Each one we have tried has been overfull with ingredients and a simple way to treat the visiting grandkids or ourselves!! The weekly Shabbat meals for four have also been enjoyed with a novel selection but only one choice each week plus a vegetarian option.
I always find what I need and more...
