The Furniture Mart — Local services in North Branch

This has been the worst experience with buying furniture that I’ve ever had. I bought a bedroom suite and took one piece from the showroom. The rest was set up for delivery a week later. When I got home with the chest of drawers from the show room, I realized it was defective. One entire side of the backing wasn’t secured to the piece and one drawer was warped. I called and arranged for a new one to be brought with the rest of the furniture and they were going to take the show room piece back. Got a call from my sales person before the delivery letting me know everything was in place. So delivery guys show up the next day and one piece out of 4 was delivered. The broken chest of drawers was not taken back either because the “exchange” was scheduled for several days later. I talked to my sales person who told me that a couple of pieces were not brought in and he wasn’t sure when they would be available. So now I have the desk that was delivered, a broken chest of drawers, and a dresser that I had to arrange pick up for. Still waiting on my nightstand and a new chest of drawers. The chest of drawers was supposed to be “exchanged” tomorrow but I haven’t heard from anyone about it. My sales person also said he would pass this on to his manager. I never heard back from either person. I bought from Ashley’s and had no issues. I won’t be going back to Furniture Mart. Won’t be recommending it to anyone else either. Oh, and I paid extra for the “white glove” delivery. My sales guy, Michael, told me he would refund that but it...

THEY GO THE EXTRA MILE......After much shopping around we decided to order a couch from here. Bill made me and my wife feel welcome and was very helpful. We are not the type of shoppers who like to have a "pushy sales" type follow you everywhere, and Bill was always within reach if we needed him without hovering over us. He gave us tons of information on a couch that we liked, and even let us take fabric samples home to deliberate with. We finally decided to special order the couch from him. When the delivery came the drivers were very courteous and efficient. When they brought in the second piece of the sectional, I nearly panicked! The orientation wasn't what we wanted to order. I called the store and spoke with a team member I had never met on our many trips in, and he reassured me that they will make it work. Within a half hour Bill called me, he apologized that the manager wasn't available...but he would be contacting me the next day. Tomorrow came and I spoke with the manager, after explaining the situation he needed to speak with the owner. Within the hour I was told that they are ordering the configuration we wanted! This was a special order, so essentially a one-off, so they went above and beyond to make things work! Thank you so much for your amazing customer care, we will definitely be back for other...

This place was AMAZING! The customer service that I received from Florida Mike was top knotch. Not only did I just walk into this store with my mom after being at a near by competitor with sub par customer service at best feeling defeated like I would never find what I was looking for. At the entrance was Florida Mike with a huge smile asking how he could help. It was then that I knew I was in the right place. I purchased a new dining set! I wasn't rushed into picking something and with my physical limitations I told Florida Mike what I was looking for and he delivered a perfect dining set for my home. The set I wanted needed to be shipped to another location and Florida Mike found a store near me and set it all up. I am truly grateful for the experience and the amazing customer service that my mom and I got at this store. If your looking for quality service and quality furniture RUN don't walk to this place. Florida Mike will take care of all your needs. Again I can't thank you enough for your time, understanding and patience as I searched for my perfect dining set. This place is definitely above the rest! I will definitely be taking that long drive from Fridley to North Branch for any other home furniture I need. The customer service is...
