First time, last time. Ordered seafood udon and a pop. Came in at just over $20. The "to go" container was sat in front of me with the lid on and no silverware. Proceed to open lid and the gimmicky container top dropped down into the bowl of boiling hot "soup" broth which splashed all over the table and myself. When dining in, is it too much to ask for a plate, bowl and some silverware. Especially at $20 a pop for hot broth and bland steamed vegetables. I tried it for a couple of minutes and ended up just leaving. Nothing about this restaurant is good. from the no table service, no silverware, their napkins are your grandmas disposable tissue plastic packs, sticky table. Everything about it was sub par. This picture makes it look way better than it tasted.

I'll be returning. The wife likes sushi and fish. Me, not so much. But they got grill in their name, so I'll give em a try. Am I ever glad I did. The food flavor is easily a strong 10. This joint is in a small strip mall up in North Branch. Kinda out of place, in my opinion. But, they had a steady flow of customers, so that tells me more people know of this place then I thought. This food deserves a fancier sit down experience. But I you can get great food in a very very casual dressing (cowboy boots with barnyard dirt). Visit, you won't regret it.

Have to re-edit my review because quality has changed. Service was quick but quality was poor. I ordered a spicy salmon roll for take out and found out to be a standard salmon roll. Didn’t even have soy sauce with take out order. Rolls are much smaller almost not worth it for the price. Used to be a favorite of mine but will have to reconsider now.

We have been going here for a couple years. Today was the first time since mid-winter. What happened?!

Good grief the food was awful! My husband and I got 4 different rolls and each looked and tasted almost identical. His BMW roll didn't even look like fried tempura. It looked soggy and nuked in a microwave, maybe? They all had some sort of unsavory filling we've never seen before that resembled canned tuna fish and canned salmon... pasty, dense.

The ginger was very dry and not very flavorful. It must have been sitting out a long time?

The chicken udon the kids got came with a broth that smelled like expired mushrooms. Pungent, off, nauseating.

The only okay item was the steak hibachi. It was at least tender and cooked well.

My kids and I are all gluten free and I feel so, so sick this time. Previously, every single time we ordered, they would call me to confirm how I needed things prepared. No call this time and food was done in record time. I feel very much like I ate gluten contaminated food.

For almost $90 for my family of 5, I am shocked at how a gem of a place went this far downhill. Every single experience prior was wonderful - prompt service, great attention to detail and diet and quality food for the price.

After today I will never go back and would definitely not recommend...

Just left . Would not recommend. Waste of money . Came from picking up my daughter the airport and was supper hungry and left hungery so did 4/5 people with me. Place is clean . Workers where nice .but The habachi steak taste like frozen beef . Tuff and nastey almost rotten taste . choice of drinks there where 4 options Pepsi or mtwd dew or diet . Chicken was editable but like frozen dinner quality. rice bland and cold . I sat down too eat too so open my meal the moment we got there ... calamari looks like it was breaded with onion ring breading.

Pretty disappointed wasted 45$ Don’t usually make reviews but after leaving hungry wouldn’t suggest wasting your money too . Check out this restaurant, over the reviews . Worst meal ever I have never left a...

I finally got around to trying this place last night, and man, all I can say is "what took me so long!?". Went back for dinner again tonight, and it was an equally great experience. The first night my wife and I sampled a couple of different sushi rolls. Tonight we both did hibachi dinners, with some crab rangoon. By far my favorite new restaurant in North Branch. I go to hibachi places regularly in the twin cities, Hudson, and Woodbury, and this place is definitely on par with many in more popular locations. The prices are also significantly lower than places farther south. If you're considering going here, and are on the fence, just do it! I still can't believe that such a gem is hidden away in North Branch. Thank you Tomo for your excellent food, and...
