I always go to this Indian store for vegetables and monthly grocery items. It was good when they opened this store. All fresh and new. As years passed, they have started to show their true colours. They have lots and lots of expired products. Do not buy anything from this store without checking the expiry date. Frozen items are ok so far but be very careful about that too. The other day while was waiting in line to check out my items , I noticed that they had stacked a shelf full of pav buns which was full of fungus. It was right next to the counter. I told the cashier and he gave me a cool reply that they will trash it. Why are you saying it and not doing it? A week after, it was still there in the shelf. This time more packets of pav buns had fungus on them. Completely unhygienic. The other day when I was visiting the store to get vegetables which is always fresh here, I noticed one of their store employee climbing on the rail closer to vegetables with his shoes to pick up some cartons in the top shelf. It was disgusting. How are people supposed to eat those vegetables after you have kept your shoes on it? Again, completely unhygienic. There is always always big line to checkout the items. It’s frustrating at times when they have several checkout counters but there is always only one cashier. If you are visiting this store, always remember to check the expiry date and also the state of the packaged food. I once bought grand sweets hand murukku and it was stale. I paid $9.99 for it and I just threw it away because it was that bad. Last but not the least, not a single item in the shelf will have a price tag. Even if they had, it would be all mixed up and you won’t be able to find the price tag for the item you are looking for.
Somebody has to really complain them to higher officials and...
Read moreI’ve seen this market but have never gone inside. My husband and I were recently referred to this market by a friend after we said we were craving Samosas. She said their frozen foods were really good and authentic, so we went today. I was excited to see what they had to offer when I stepped inside. I waved and greeted the cashier. I couldn’t tell if she responded or smiled because of her masks, and really didn’t think much of it. We found a few things and stood in line to check out. Again I looked the cashier in the eye and she didn’t reply. I kept trying to talk to her, and thought she’d eventually lighten up. She didn’t. Instead she barely answered my question and tossed my receipt at me to sign. Despite that I thanked her. She did not return my kindness and it felt like she didn’t want me in the store. This made me angry and I thought about saying something to her and returning my purchase due to her rudeness. I didn’t because I didn’t want her to ruin my experience or love for Indian food. Unlike her, I chose the path of kindness in that moment.
Sadly, I will not be returning and I will share my experience and poor treatment with my friend and others. In these difficult times I would think each customer would be valued. I wish them well and hope they change their attitude so they don’t close during...

New review; Changed from two star to one star. Everything in old review plus;
Only one person in checkout line at 1:32 pm on Sunday. There are 15 plus people waiting for checkout. No one knows where checkout starts as there is no sign. And with such huge wait time for checkout I walked out withou purchasing anything. This is fourth time like this in last four months.
Very bad customer service.
Old review; The customer service is so bad. Long lines anytime you go here.
There is no designated start line for checkouts, one day it is the first aisle and the another day it is second aisle, I got tired of complaining to the management here. They better sell the site to someone who can manage it and provide good customer service.
I even suggested that they put a sign that says the checkout line begins from here, and they do not care. How hard is this
And the guys who are cashiers stay on phone calls all the time and take check people out. This is insane.
The only time the checkout lines move faster is when one lady does it. She never stays on phone and pays attention to the checkout process and...
