I am sad to write this review. I am caucasian/Hispanic; a co-worker and great friend recommended this shop. I went in for Henna Tattoos on both hands. I was sat on a foot stool, was not offered to sit in one of the 4 empty white chairs. The women sat and giggled and talked in their language, the woman doing my henna dropped the tube on the ground about 25 different times then would laugh and proceed with contaminated henna on my skin. I am disabled she required my to hold my hand up shoulder or higher the whole time, after the 1st hand was done and I had been speaking to the one woman who could speak English she said “ I actually like you… the henna design that the “professional” put on my hand was so bad that the kids I work with told me “ Ms. Misty how cute you tried to do henna, next time get it done by someone who knows how”. My co-worker who is from India says to me “ I am so sorry MistyAnn but someone did a bad thing to you, this looks very bad.” Then she gave me the way to help remove the henna. I also spent over 600.00 on clothing. To be treated like a joke the only reason I can come up with is because 1. I am Caucasian/ Hispanic 2. Disabled. I think the fact that I trusted these women to treat me equal and to do a their job was my mistake. I am Christian and truly see the best in all people. I am so saddened by these women and the treatment I received… once I actually receive the items that had to be altered I will NEVER return and do not recommended this shop to anyone … so sad in this time of hate and discrimination, to experience 1st hand for the 1st time ever in my life...
Read moreOne of the rudest experience I’ve had with merchants in general. I had a Groupon order for this merchant, made a call for an appointment for today or tomorrow, mentioned that I’m using Groupon for an appointment. The lady made me wait a little, then threw me a word “3PM”. Since it was the same day, I confirmed 3PM TODAY? And she said yes and I said see you then.
I drove through the rain for half an hour to get there, only to find out that they didn’t book me in and the lady meant to call her back at 3PM (which I don’t understand how I’m supposed to get by just hearing “3PM”). Not only so, the lady was super rude and implied I had heard wrong, and they didn’t do anything wrong, emphasizing that they don’t take Groupon appointments on that day do the week, in a super condescending tone like it’s my fault to have come in today.
There was no disclosure or terms on Groupon about the day limitation. I’ve yet to have a merchant mess something up and still keep trying to argue with me without being slightly apologetic, until I also started being annoyed at their attitude. It’s extremely hilarious that she was annoyed before I was.
Please, no one deserves this attitude because you made some rules that you failed to convey clearly...
Read moreI've been a regular customer at this salon for my eyebrow and waxing services, and I must say that the quality of service is top-notch! The staff is skilled, friendly, and always ensure that I leave feeling satisfied with my treatments.
However, my only gripe is with some of the other customers who visit the salon. On multiple occasions, I've had people show up without an appointment and ask to be serviced before me, despite my scheduled appointment. Some have even gone so far as to claim they have a flight to catch later that evening, in an attempt to guilt trip the staff into accommodating them. This has happened even when I've booked my appointment well in advance.
It's frustrating to feel like my time and scheduling are being disregarded, especially when I've made an effort to plan ahead. I hope the salon will consider implementing a more robust scheduling system or communicating more clearly with customers about wait times and appointment priorities.
Despite this issue, I still highly recommend this salon for their excellent services. Just be sure to arrive early and advocate for yourself if you encounter any...
