Sabor Latino taqueria — Restaurant in North Creek

WARNING! I went into this place for the first time today and I don't know if my experience was unique or part of a policy. There were about 8 or 9 people eating when I entered. I ordered a lunch combo ($8.95) of huevos con chorizo and chile relleno to go. After I ordered 4 or 5 more people came in ordered. All of them received their food before me. After about 30 minutes (longest I have ever waited for Mexican take out in my life), the cashier said okay, that will be $17.05. I said how can it be $17.05 when your menu says $8.95. i showed her the menu. She said "no, not both for $8.95. I'm giving you special for $7.95 each". She then went to the kitchen window talked to someone and came back and said, "Yeah $17.05". I walked out. I'm not sure if I had to wait so long and then try to be ripped off because I looked gullible or white. All the other people who ordered after me and received their food before me were hispanic. Take a look at the menu pictures on their Yelp page. Does the lunch combo special look like it should cost $17.00??? I live right up the street from this place. They could have had a lifelong customer. Instead, they will now have a lifelong person to tell friends never...

Last week on Sunday we tried stopping by but the establishment was closed even when the opening hours indicated otherwise....Today we tried again. Instead if showing up I called ahead of time to make sure they were open which the man I talked to said they were. When my husband went by to order the doors were locked once again! I called to ask why and the man working answered "I wasn't done cleaning yet." ......by 10am? You are in the wrong line of...

My Diamond in the rough! All i have eaten from here is the carne asada tacos with there verde salsa. The tacos are not fancy, just the basics. Good meat, cilantro, onion and tortilla. I can't speak on the rest of the menu, but the tacos definitely hit the spot. They can be a little stingy with there salsa as it is homemade, so make sure to ask for...
