One other review took the words right out of my mouth, I refuse to shop anywhere else for my home brew needs. Don't stop at brewing beer, Kirby has just about everything for home fermentation. Want to make cheese, cider, mead, wine, kombucha? He has kits and equipment for everything.

With years of experience Kirby has always provided excellent advice so I won't be disappointed with my first brews.

He appreciates loyal customers too. Kirby cuts me deals on all sorts of great stuff because like I said in the beginning: I refuse to shop anywhere else.

If you want a special kit made up you can email him and he'll get right after putting something together.

As an amateur home brewer he challenges me to try new stuff and gets enthusiastic when I think outside the basic kits.

If possible I refuse to buy supplies from anywhere else. Kirby is the man, and his staff (who if I remember correctly are mostly family or very close friends) are on point. The shop looks small but they carry just about everything for beer making, wine making, cheese making, and even distilling, and if they don't have something they can get it very easily although I've never run into that personally. Also, friends who have purchased custom built items from them have received truly custom, well-thought out pieces, for literally half the cost in many cases. I pass up a competitor that is only a short detour on my way home from work to shop here...

I did a Google search looking for wine yeast, I am attempting to make some homemade wine, this was my first time visiting the store. The store was very neat and clean. The man working there was Kirby, he was so helpful and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions in great detail, looking forward to taking a class or two, they even have a cheese making class. I had brought my son along, he got a book on Artisan Distilling, they had a very good inventory, I also got an equipment cleaning solution that was exactly what I was looking for.
