Subway's subs are the fast food of the sub industry and their subs are comparable to that of a fast food burger. The quality of their "freshly baked bread" is not a testiment to its freshness. There are however several varieties of bread available now beyond the usual white or wheat, including an oat bread, among others.
They have a variety of sandwhich items on their menu, including a shaved steak and cheese sub, sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub, a spicy italian, or a meatball marinara sub among others. You can also customize your sub, as it is made right in front of you every step of the way.
The roastbeef sub is nothing spectacular. It is simply an average sub. The roastbeef itself is not a premium cut and is overdone. The vegetables appear to be fresh.
There are other menu items available but it is limited to cookies, chips and varieties of fountain sodas and energy drinks. Meal deals are also available.
The staff is friendly and they are competent but do not overly extend themselves to friendly conversation however, and they give the impression they would rather be somewhere other than behind the counter making your sandwhiches.
The prices of their subs are comparable to local sub shops but given the quality of their subs, the subs are only worth their prices when they have their $5.00 footlong specials, or when you apply coupons, which are available from...
Read moreI've always had good service there, and it's my "go to" Subway. My concern though, is for one of their employees. I won't mention her by name, but I think that the franchise owner needs to be aware of her actions in front of customers. She is super nice, but I think she has a drug problem. She randomly talks and giggles to herself, and will go off on a tangent about nothing remotely related to my order. On more than 1 occasion, I've seen her get confused counting out the meats and vegetables, only to just load the sandwich. On my most recent visit, when putting on the 3 tomato slices, she lost count and had to re-count 3 different times, all the while swaying and talking to herself. This isn't normal. Nor is the slow speed in which she operates, as if she has a tough time processing the order. She's worked at this Subway for a long time. By now, making sandwiches for her should be pretty much automatic, and muscle memory. I'm not a drug addiction specialist but sadly, I've been around plenty of people strung out on all sorts of drugs. I hope her employer helps her, and doesn't just ignore her situation in the "best interest" of...
Read moreThe food is like all other Subways and the staff is friendly... The problem is that these days they seem to always only have 1 staff member working at a time.
This causes slow service at peak times and more annoyingly, they shut off online ordering and barely ever answer the phone. So, you can't order ahead and have to wait while they prepare your food.. and you also can't use any promo codes in store as they only work online. This has already doubled what I would've paid online with the promo code on several orders now.
I like Subway but these issues make me pretty much nolever eat...
