Came from USA to work on my vacation home and this place was the go to place for everything we needed. The staff are so friendly that my husband was very owhelmed by how polite people in Puerto Rico were towards him. Everyone will tell him " Buenos dias caballero" Buenas tardes caballero" Tenga buen día caballero" To the point he had it mentioned to me.. so for him was weird because no one ever has treat it him with such courtesy in a store in the USA..lol so for him the experience was great. He felt appreciated and valued a costumer. We rented from here some tools, we returned items that didn't needed and we didn't had any problems. Every transaction was smooth and the staff knew what they were doing. The covid precautions are also on point. They have someone at the door taking the tempature of Every person walking into the store and they also spray your hands with alcohol. So we also felt safe doing our shopping experience because they are making sure everyone is following the covid guidelines and taking it very seriously. If I could live here I would. I have home depot on speed dial. They have a great returns program, you have a year to return an item with a receipt. If you dont have a receipt but use their rewards program your receipts are automatically saved so it will be accessible there. Stores associates have the power to discount items for you and they are usually so nice about it. If you need help to your car they are ready and willing and always with a smile. For big projects if you use home depot credit your free of any interest rates for a year after purchase if payed off in full beforehand. You receive coupons and daily deals by email and they also have do it yourself tutorials. There are some really stand-out staff members. I wish I had names, I would list them, but I'm sure their management already knows who is who. I really hope that the his ones are treated well, because they are hauling around a lot of dead weight. Sadly the crappy staff is so so sooooooooo It's bad. You cannot get help in this store. At all. In store pickup? Plan to stand around and wait and wait and wait and wait some more while the employees stand around together in little groups and talk and look at their phones. Meanwhile you will witness the same 5 employees running themselves ragged trying to help people. I really feel for the good ones. That said, we're going to start trekking to Lowes in Wallingford.
